1. Dump some PG Nic into your laboratory grade beaker.
2. Use a syringe to squirt in the right amount of PG.
3. Use that same syringe to squirt in the VG in the correct amount.
4. Put in some flavor, but only the tiniest drop, as a full drop will flavor a cake the size to fit an army.
OR
5. Put in some flavor. Should be something like 5% to 20% (yeah, that's 1 fifth) of the whole mixture.
6. Shake it up. Some groovy music will help the process.
1. I generally mix 5ml zero-nic test batches in a 6ml bottle, but even a shot glass will do.
2. Yup.
3. Yup. Don't forget to at least rinse out the syringe between ingredients - especially if you do flavoring with a syringe instead of a dropper as I do. I keep a big measuring cup of hot water in the mad scientist lab just for rinsing syringes and stuff.
4. Only if you're working with tobacco absolute.
OR
5. You might consider starting at 5% for non-tobacco flavors, 2% for tobacco flavors and way less than 1% for tobacco absolute - you can always add more.
6. You can quick-steep a mix by heating a cup of water in the microwave then drop your sealed bottle of juice in the water and leave it there for ten minutes or so.
And there is a #7. Take notes. Account for every drop of flavoring so you can learn from the bad stuff and recreate the good stuff you make completely by accident
