getting seriously frustrated

Lately, no matter what i do my cartos will not feed. I am using the pre punched stallion cartos from gotvapes and a cartomater tank from vaperfexxion.

the carto is some kind of hybrid design and while they hit like a truck, they simply will not feed. I have primed them, vaped and then they begin to taste burnt. i pop off my drip tip and the filler is dry as the nevada desert. I have used 50/50, 60/40 and 70/30 pg/vg mixes nothing will feed in these things.

is there some different method to these things that i am missing? really i love how amazing these cartos hit, but they simply will not feed worth a damn.

i thought i should add, its not like a bubble is getting caught at the punched hole or anything. it just will not feed for some strange reason. I tried unicorn blood from fuzion it also would not feed and that is a very thin juice. SO as far as i can tell it has nothing to do with the juice density.

It doesn't appear the problem is the juice being too thick; those juice Pg/Vg ratio's are quite reasonable to believe they should wick easily.

It appears the problem is with the filler material or the carto holes being inadequate to allow enough juice to flow into the carto from the tank. There's nothing that I am aware of that can change the density of the filler, but you could enlarge or add a punched hole or two if you have a carto punch tool.

I recall reading of some batches of Boge cartos that had an extremely dense filler that simply would not absorb juice a while back. Do these cartos that you have appear to be taking up the juice when you prime them? I've never used the Stallion brand so I'm not familiar with them. Have you used this brand before?

are you filling the cartomizer first or just putting it in the tank?

For all the crappy reviews I've seen over Boge carto's, I am SO HAPPY with mine. I got 6 boxes of Boge laser punched carto's from VVV and one of their glass carto tanks.

I've been vapin Bobas which is max VG and max VG 555 from MBV and they run and hit like a tank. I did drill 2 extra holes in the carto's for feeding....

Be careful not to drill or punch to many holes as IMHO VG is really not all that much thicker than PG....

how many holes do they have? 1 or 2?

get some different cartos if you can and see if that makes a difference.. like Baditude said - it could just be a bad batch.

never heard of that much trouble if you are filling them correctly

they hold approx 2 ml of juice, i put them in the tank, prime them by dripping until they seem full. then adding another drop or two.

not sure how well you can see this pic. but it might be a design issue, dono. it is a top coil carto. which is why i was so excited about it, and it hits like a truck. just does not seem to want to feed.
