Looks like you made some very goog choices to me...
You and wife are well on you way to being Vapers !!!

eGo-c kit is what I started with..started vaping friday night- saturday I was cig free !
(40 yr, PAD+ 'burro red man)

I have graduated up the mod ladder...but still use my eGos everyday- as my fill and carry vape gear.

I would start with the eGo cartrages tonight...
you can play with the new toys as you vape.

Thanks for the kind word DJ RyckRak! No worry on the water, I already drink tons a day as I dehydrate easily...hoping vaping doesn't cause a problem...only time will tell. Am using the little tanks too BTW.

Also, on my second flavor now...tried the halo tribeca first and didn't really like it much. Now on mt bakers extreme ice and it is much better! I didn't eben smoke menthols either. And I think Topkicker was right, the 18mg/ml is strong...I took like 8 hits on it and had a very strong nicotine buzz...too strong in fact, glad Topkicker recommended some other strength juices as I bought 12 and 9mg/ml strengths as well...the extreme ice is 12 and feels about perfect...

I have had no cigarettes this evening and going to try to keep it that way. I normally have one in morning which is one of my strongest urges...going to go for vape in morning and hopefully be satisfied by it. I can't smoke at work at all so I go 8-6 without a cig Monday thru Friday, biggest cravings are getting up in morning and right when I get home...I already beat one but was very excited about my stuff arriving so will have to see how it is tomorrow.

Congratulations Rand! Your n you way to a better life. I have been analog free for 21 days now ) I started with the Ego~C and clearos I'm now on a private with tank loving it. My oak has great juice! Never a menthol smoker but found out their Eskimo kiddos awesome if you like peppermint patties. LOL Good luck and hang in there it only gets better from here

Every cig you pass up is one less smoked.
I got some 'Pineapple Ice' with my first orders too...and I liked it- was never a menthol guy either.

You will vape alot more that you smoked...it's ok- You are teaching your mind that you will give it the nic that it needs by vaping...
so it won't freak out the your not lighting up and ciggy.
Nicotene vaped is absorbed through the mouth and nose, not so much by the deep lung blood vessels-and it is absorbed more slowly.
That is another reason you will vape more.
Try to vape a little in the AM...just like that 'first ciggy'...before you have a cig. You will find that the cig doesn't taste too good- and you may not smoke the whole thing.
Remember...you may not give up the cigs right off...it's ok.
But- If you train your body and mind that you won't deprive it of nic...you are just giving it in a different way- it should go smooth !

Update...haven't had a smoke since Thursday evening when I got my kit in. Have tried lots of juices, the tank things, vision clearomizer, cartomizer and attempted the dripping atomizers. The drippers were both DOA...some luck.

Anyways, by far my favorite is the clearo. It does seem to consume more juice than the little tanks do but I also get more vapor from it so seems normal, is this right? While I liked the cartomizer it just dries out quickly in comparison, only have to fill my clearo twice a day and can vape like there is no tomorrow. I will have to try a cartotank to make using cartomizers worth while I think.

As far as flavors I have found I don't really like the fruits. While tasty at first I tire of them after just a few vapes, not worth filling my clearo with. I like the coffee flavors well enough but not good enough to vape them all day, but great at night! Also the tobacco flavors straight just taste odd, kinda like pipe tobacco smells...only flavor I really like straight up us menthol, and the MBV extreme ice is fantastic alone. My ADV seems to be me mixing about 2/3 tobacco flavor and 1/3 of the extreme ice, flavor is awesome on that and I can just suck it down!

I have settled at 12mg strength, perfect for chain vaping outside like I'm having an analog or just taking random drags on it here and there while chilling on the couch watching TV.

Going to have to order some more and better clearos for sure. Thinking kanger T3 and some evods to give a go, maybe even those novas everyone talks about. That and a cartotank to try and return these dripping atomizers for some that actually work, then I think I will be set on delivery device experiments, even though I'm fully satisfied by the clearo.

Glad to hear everything is working out for you! RE: Clearomizers, we have had pretty good luck with the Vision ones. Like Stardust and Vivi Nova. Just make sure you get the genuine ones.... I got some knockoffs and had nothing but trouble with them. O and grab some of the replacement heads.

For Cartotanks, I like them my wife hates them. Might be good to stick with the Clearo for a bit then dip toes into Cartotanks. If you decide to go the Carto Tank route, make sure you check the blog entries from a user here Baditude. Guy knows his stuff on these and was a HUGE help when I started off with them.

I started with the ego-c upgrade and a couple clearomizers and I personally think its the way to go for just starting out with vaping. It's been going quite well for me so far.

Here is what I got. eGo-C w/ Vivi Nova Tank Starter Kit (Sold Out) - MyFreedomSmokes.com I really enjot the small mini tank as it is about the same diameter as the battery and 2.0ml of juice will last me all day at work. I see they are out of stock right now but everyone I have talked to as of late says stock should be back in by the end of this week or the beginning of next week. good luck with the vapping

I cannot find these vivi novas in stock anywhere! Seems everyone is sold out except for clones. Looking for a place to get 2 vivi novas and 2 mini vivi novas and some kanger T3 and evods...anyone know a place that would be great, in the meanwhile I will keep hunting.

Just did my taxes and got a much larger return than expected...looks like a provari is in my very near future! Going to just order one for me and see if the wife likes it over the ego batteries, if so then I will get one for her as well...excited!

Careful what juice you put in there, some acidic juices been known to crack or damage clearos... think there is a list around the forum somewhere.

O and congrats on Provari! I went your route, bought myself one loved it. Bought my wife an Evic.... She stole the Provari had to buy her one to get mine back.

Looks like they have 2 blues and 1 red left in stock, or something like that. These are metal tubes like a window, but I think you could always swap tubes later. I bought my wife 2 purples and she likes them. They are genuine.

Thanks for the link man. If those can last until I get paid tomorrow morning I will be ordering them for sure otherwise I drop below my personal 'zero' amount which has to be unacceptable so I can stay wise with my funds.

OK. Did some hunting and it looks like my vapor store has all of the novas in stock but now I have a couple questions(imagine that...lol).

So I am going to order two minis and two regular size ones, on the regular size ones they have the 'SVT' version which comes with metal tank with small slot style window. Should I get one with plain plastic and one with the metal windowed tank? Does it really even matter? I am not using cinnamon or citrus liquids at this time, mostly tobaccos mixed with a little menthol ice.

Secondly, on the regular size nova (or even minis) do I need to order those ego thread cover cone flares to make them fit smoothly and look good? If so, what size, the normal small cone or the one for DCT tanks?

RE SVT: If I recall right it does not matter. It is not actually metal, more like a regular tube wrapped with metal. If the menthol has not caused an issue with your current clearos I think you would be fine.

No idea on the thread covers, never used them. For an Ego battery the mini novas look fine to me. And the regulars will look fine on a Provari.
