i was cruisin youtube and came across this guy shawn how was tring out an e-cig,by the time i finished the 3rd vid i was sold on one of these.been trying to quit using these damn lozenges for 12 weeks and realize i am just changing the method of delivery for nicotene as i chain use the losenges as well,i smoked 3pks a shift at work for at least the last 10 yrs and been a heavy smoker for more than 20 yrs.im not lookin for any candy or fruit flavored replacement but a real tobaco taste with a good hit and what he was smokin sure looked like it.i drive truck and am workin 13-14 hr days so i need to find a solution to last all day, dont know where in canada to buy anything and a search here seems to leave me with lots to read,i guess what i am askin is 1.where do i buy in the chatham area, the best that gets the longest battery life, these candies are not getting me anywhere so i want to at least enjoy the flavor of a smoke.i have read about mods as well but only just touched the subject,i dont care if i have a battery pack the size of a large pack of smokes to carry as long as im not stuck without nic on the road, any suggestions?refilling looks like most economical option,

thx

Hi,

I started vaping a couple of weeks ago, 20 or so a day roll up guy. I'm in the UK, so not as many options as the US, so I too hit YouTube to find online stores that sell stuff.

I have a screwdrive Mk2 - the battery life is AMAZING. It goes ALL day on one battery.

Re-filling the carts while driving is not a good idea - nor is direct dripping on the atty, but I'm sure with a little prep you could lay out filled carts to see you through your shift.

I too thought that I would want a tobacco flavour hit from the vape, and occasionally I do but that is the main difference for me with vaping - you can change your smoking experience hourly. I usually start the day with Marlborough - now, it does not TASTE just like a Marlb smoke - but in a few hours - I like the flavour. I tastes like the SMELL of unsmoked tobacco - it did the job. I then discovered and triend Menthol and RY-4. All great for X-smokers in my opinion.

The hit, throat hit - is spectacular at 36mg level and i notice it more with vape than I ever did with smoke.

I hope that helps. I've done some vids about my first few days / weeks with vape.

Check em' out if you get a chance.

I wish these had been available when I first started vaping. You might want to check out this thread on the new disposables: its a great way to figure out exactly what suits your needs and to try a few different models at a convenient price to begin with.

Also...at the top of this thread check out the Stickys ...they have lots of valuable information including a guide to the e cigarette.

thx all,i will investigate every one of these, the only one i found local in my area had this ad:
Kit includes:
2x Batteries (so you can keep one on the charger and swap out when needed)
2x Atomizers
1x Battery charger
5x Marlboro Prefilled Cartridges
10x Blank cartridges
1x 30ml Bottle of Ruyan#4 Flavor which will last over a month
this is a 901 style e-cigarette, probably the best style you can get.
------------------------------------
i can grab this for $100 can these be pre-loaded and carried and used as needed?i dont want to be dripping and driving.although i assume dripping is refilling the cartrage.i have been reading i need eliquid and smoke juice together to get the nic into me?would this be a good starter or should i look for one better?i am going to look at the stuff you guys have posted and try to sort through the easiest solution

First off, don't go for a "free-trial offer", not saying you are that dumb, but...we all make mistakes. That's about all I can advise. I just started a couple weeks ago, and so far I'm off the cigarettes. Cravings were pretty bad for about a week, but now it's mellowed out. I probably should've gotten higher nicotine juice (I had 24mg stuff, going with the 36mg stuff now).

passthrough now thats prob a better choice, and i had someone mention KR808D for having the longest smokability per cartrage.i do like the info i am reading about the Vapor4Life but the KR808D is 2 piece which is quite atractive, being this is a first try and ive lasted 12-13 weeks with the nic losenges (2mg currently) should i get a med dose cartrage for one of these?

Why wouldn't you recommend the free trial offer, clem? I almost ordered one for my Grandma today to try and see what she thought of it.

Overpriced. By about 4X what it should cost. Easier in the long run to buy a 510 disposable from MadVapes.com and a bunch of pre-filled carts. (Although it says disposable, mine has survived 30+ recharges.)

Phil -

What you're ultimately looking for is a juicebox by Carlos. The demand for these is so heavy, that there is a 4-5 week waiting period.

You can get a Chuck, SD, JantyStick or a box mod to tide you over and to stash for emergencies. With apologies to anyone I didn't mention, there are a talented bunch of modders on this forum who've released commercial mods that provide a quality vaping experience.

The 905's are available on a bunch of sites. LiteCigUSA.net has them in stock.

Unfortunately, for price and variety, you'll find the best buys are on the net. Not in brick and mortar stores. This is something to plan ahead for and order in advance.

As someone already mentioned, it's excessively overpriced, and if your experience is like mine, you might not even receive the trial product, or you might not get the product you signed up for, or you won't get it in time to actually try it before they start charging you "subscription" fees and the like. I'd just say from my experience, you should stay very far away from the free trial offers. There's a good reason nobody here recommends them.

It sounds like you need something that you can easily use while driving. I would recommend the Vapor King from V4L. It's a KR8 model (2-piece) and all you need to do is switch cartomizers when one runs dry. I would second the recommendation made here that you buy an auto pass-thru that plugs into your cigarette lighter.
