I just started vaping about 3 weeks ago, I have the ego-c battery with a dct carto tank. I started with the vision v2 but it was really hard for me to pull on and get the hit I was looking for. Once I switched I never want to go back. However, I've gone through like 5 cartos since I've started, they keep burning out, dont know what if anything I'm doing wrong but Iv have ones go out after just a day. Any advise? Also anyone recommend a good model with a decent amount of capacity.Thanks

Welcome to ECF. I have never had a burnt carto but I always fill them as soon as it tastes different or dry try refiilling your cartos sooner than later. Check out utube under cardimizers a lot of instructional videos
ok thanks, its mostly the fill thats burnt not the mechanical parts I dont think
The ego has the weakest battery, voltage wise on the market at only 3.4 volts. I would consider a true 3.7 volt model like the Kgo or E-Power in the fixed volt line or a good variable volt model. Depending on the resistence of those DC's, the ego doesn't play well with dual coil's.

With the dct tank, it it is a single hole punched in it sometimes the juice doesn't soak in quick enough, especially if you are chain vaping. You may need to enlarge the hole or punch in a couple of more holes.
Dual coils do drain your battery faster than single coil cartos. I've recently switched out my dual coil Smoktech cartos in my DCT tanks for these: Single Coil XL Tank Cartomizer for the SmokTank XL
I like them better than the dual coils. Plenty of vapor, throat hit, and flavor. Your choice prepunched with one or two holes, depending upon your juice's thickness, and in different resistances.
You may want to try some of the CE2 cartomizers. They are the same size as a regular carto, clear to see your juice level, with no polyfilling to alter your juice's taste. They come in the same sizes as cartomizers. They do need to be filled with an included syringe, but follow the directions, it is not difficult at all. These will not work in a carto tank.
