Hey all!

With my current setup: KGO 1100 and eGo-C Twist, I started using the Vision Clearomizers (V2). Overall, i was very happy with them, except they seemed to either burnout quickly or the flavor would get bad despite cleaning them out every couple of days. I switched to the Vision Clearos with replaceable wicks at 1.8 ohms (and a single 2.8 ohm also)

Haven't been very happy with them. I keep getting that chemically/metallic flavor that burns a bit. I've been using Halo juice (varied flavors).

What are some good alternatives to this clearo? I'm very happy with the flavors I've been vaping with, just can't seem to find a good carto/clearo I like.

Thanks!

I've been pretty happy with the Kanger T2s. Mine have been lasting well through pretty regular usage and cleaning, and they have the advantage of being able to change the heads if they wear out. There's a new T3 out, which is bottom fed, so you don't have to fuss with making sure the wicks stay wet, but I haven't had the opportunity to try them yet.

If you haven't tried cartomizers yet, I would whole-heartedly endorse them. You can pick up a 5 pack for $5 - $10 (depending on which cartos and where you are ordering from). The feel is very different from a clearo. Dryer than a clearo, more throat hit, and the flavour comes through better. Plus they have a cool crackling sound that reminds me of dragging on a cig. I've been using Boges (seems like the quality issues they were having have been sorted out) and like them, but haven't tried others yet for comparison. Lifetime will vary - I get about a week of usage before needing to clean them, and another week out of them after a good boiling. A lot of people just chuck them without worrying about cleaning as they are pretty cheap.

The Halo flavours I've tried were pretty thick and heavy on the flavour (and some were very dark). All those will contribute to hardware getting gunked up faster, regardless what you're using.

tanks are way more efficient. Easier to carry a full tank than having to carry a bottle of juice. But if you care about aesthetics, the look of a tank on a smaller e-cig may turn you off

That's what I like about the clearos I've been using. I just have no idea how to get started. Brands to avoid, what to buy, etc.

Vision Mini Vivi Nova's work great. There are knock-offs of the Vivi Nova too, it seems some work good and others not at all. I get mine from LiteCig or GotVapes. They taste great, have more capacity than the Stardusts and look nice. I do have to say that I also use the Vision Rebuildable Stardusts and have never had a problem with burning or flavor. They are essentially the same thing as the Vivi Nova. I keep mine topped off but my wife vapes hers down to "fumes" (or maybe drops). Here is a picture of them my wife was actively vaping when I rescued them for refill.
