Number 1 rule when taking vape gear on a plane is don't try to hide anything. Check all your juices or get ready to lose them and take all your mods with you on your person or your carry on. You might get stopped or asked simply explain what it is tell the truth and move on. Keep whatever vape you need on the flight inside the tank and carry paper towls with you it might leak during take off or at landing. The more you try to hide stuff the more they'll check just because you went the extra mile to try and hide it.

I travel internationally alot and most of the advice is spot on. I carry most of my gear in my carry on baggage. If you put juice in checked bags its gonna leak. So pack your juice in separate ziplocks and dont pack loaded attys. I have to carry enough juice for 5 weeks so trust me on the leak issue:)

I have only had a few problems with TSA. They questioned my eliquid and swabbed the bottles for drugs because the had no labels.... no big deal there. They had me take my device apart to look inside no big deal there either. They recommended my juice have a label but other than that, no problems.

I dont advise trying to hide anything, the TSA isnt dumb and they dont take kindly to deception. There has been previous posts in other threads about trying to hide stuff in shampoo bottles, hand lotion tubes and so on. Dont do it!!! You might end up in a room with some ugly looking TSA with huge fingers and a gleem in his eye;)

As for packing up your high end gear in your checked baggage, I wouldnt because they inspect your checked bags behind closed doors. If it comes up missing you have no leg to stand on as far as getting it back. I dont travel with my high ends just because I travel to different countries. I never had problems at customs either but if it came to giving up my PV or sitting in jail and/or missing my flight, I will be glad to know the my provari and zen are safe at home.:2cool::vapor:
