I think with flavorless you will taste the nicotine ??? I have a sour to change things up once in awhile. Then there is the tobacco flavors which just made me want an analog even more. I am heading towards coffee and I have a Tiramisu that is not sweet.

Take with a grain of salt. I been at this 2 weeks :<0)
I never thought of trying a straight coffee flavor, thanks

Any suggestions, is flavorless the way to go?
May be your flavoring is too strong. I use use an all in one flavoring at 1%. I see no point in so-called unflavored. Just reduce the flavoring a lot and discover may be you like it better. Or dilute the pre mix you've been buying and see if that doesn't improve it.

Most premixed liquid is overly sweet. People on ECF have mentioned that for people quitting smoking whose flavor receptors are not yet back to par, highly flavored / highly sweetened liquids are easier to taste, and also that more sweetener = less steep time necessary. I also think that a lot of vapers are young, and like more sweet candy tastes. ALSO, higher VG liquids are sweeter, because vg is sweeter, and more premixed liquids are high vg now, for cloud chasers.

I do a few things: for overly sweet liquids I've unfortunately bought, I cut the liquid with unflavored or cut the liquid with a good not-so-sweet diy mix. Other than that, I spend a lot of time reading reviews, looking for mentions of "not too sweet" and similar :). Other than that, I make my own DIY mixes, and adjust sweetness for my tastes.

I have 3 sitting here waiting to get mixed. From the reviews it sounds like the flavoring is soo strong just waving the bottle over PG/VG is over doing it :<0) I will know more later and come back. Just trying to decide how much to dump in now.

I started getting sick of some sweet flavors myself , instead of going with the 10% recommended amount i started making them with 5% and i liked them much better .

It seemed the longer the juice steeped it got sweeter and sweeter and that was just too much for me. A freshly made juice may fool you into thinking it needs more sweetener, let it sit and try a week later.

Well I mixed up 2 of the 3 coffee flavors and it's weak so far but I can taste it. I used a 70VG/30PG ejuice at 6ml nic.
All the reviews I found on coffee flavors are not good. Decent was the best I found from my picks. Plus they all said use it sparingly which I am finding isn't so true from my taste buds.

Espresso by Capella: I used 6 drops per 10ml and was very weak so I added 6 more to get SOME taste. Probably could use another 6 but holding off in case it steeps into more flavor.

Cappuccino by Inawera : I used 10 drops per 10 ml but added 5 more and now I got some taste going with this one. Once again letting steep before I add more. but will probably hit my spot with 5 more drops.

Coffee by LorAnn Oils : I have held off on this because some of the reviews say it clogs things and isn't that great. Not made for vape juice I guess. And I ran out of bottles.

These are my fist mixes ever so take all that for what it's worth.
If your interested in more let me know. Otherwise I'll consider my 2 cent ante in and call ya :<0) <--- my poker face
