Yeah, I got the email to confirm. Followed the link to choose my password but when I'd hit submit the forms go blank and nothing happened. Made no sense,
But they helped me. they ended up creating a pass for me. They told me to change it later but even after loging into my account it wouldn't let me change it.

Yeh, I'm just concerned about giving them my checking acct. info. I know lots of folks have done it, and no problems, but I worry about it.

I feel this way too, so I won't add an account to my paypal until I open one for that purpose. I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I will in time. Start a new savings or checking account at a different bank with just a minimum balance, then your regular account can't be effected. If you open a new account at your bank and there is a problem most banks will automatically transfer funds between the accounts you own, so be sure to go to a bank were you don't intend to do any business but paypal.
