Free Ego kit from Aidtech

Has anyone heard of or purchased from Aidtech in China? They contacted me by mail and offered me a free complete Ego kit inlcuding carrying case for free just to try their products. I'm a little leary of anything free but so far they seem on the up and up and they are even paying the postage. It is supposed to be in the mail so we will see. I will post on here after I receive it and let you know if there are any catches. I am just curious if anyone else was contacted by them.

They are a legit company. They particularly sell to wholesale retailers in China. One of my friends is getting a Joye eGo from them at no cost, since he made an agreement to post a thorough review on the product . Hope that helps.

Cool, thanks. They didn't ask me to do anything but try their products and hope I would purchase from them in the future. I probably will too being as they are giving me a free ego kit!

As long as you didn't give them a credit card number it might be worth considering. But from what I've experienced throughout life nothing is completely free so be wary.

I'm usually skeptical about things that seem too good to be true, especially when they seem to come out of nowhere.

I'd be curious as to how they got my email address and why they chose me. I often get cold-emails praising my blog (which I don't update nearly as often as I used to) and soliciting link-backs & affiliate programs & such because "my readers and their target audience have a lot in common yada-yada-yada..."

My ego (not to be confused with eGo) would swell a little bit and then I'd look into their background and realize I didn't want anything to do with them and definitely didn't want to direct my insignificant following to dubious sites that were most likely farming for phishing victims.

I thought for sure they would be asking for my cc number or would hit me up for shipping but they didn't do neither and it is in the mail with a tracking number so I believe it is on the way. They gave me a choice of any kit they sell and said it was their year anniversary of selling e-cigs. They appear to be a wholesale company and maybe they think I'm a retailer being as I buy so many different products. Hey maybe I'll get in the business but it would be like an alcoholic owning a bar, I would vape up all my profits.

I got a letter in the mail with their catalogue offering me free samples of their range in hopes I'll be a retailer for them as well.

Totally awesome tumbleweed. Since they didn't ask for anything, sounds like a cool deal. I just hope they don't try to sneek a payment slip in with the product. Maybe it is legit. I hope for you it is. Congrats!!

Hmmmmmm-Odd that they didn't ask for a review or anything. I know of a few non-ecig companies that do this, but it's almost always for a review or something. Oh well, very cool and gratz

Maybe they just randomly chose someone from ECF due to the large amount of exposure (free advertising) this forum provides.

Simon just contacted me and I guess he has received quite a few emails from forum members and wanted me to post some info.

He was as usual very courteous but I was a little embarrased for questioning their motives and they are as stated above. I will probably buy from them in the future because Simon has been so pleasent to deal with.

I just wanted to know if anyone else received the letter with a free offer. I still don't know how they got my mailing address, not that I'm complaining. I have placed quite a few orders from Eastmall and Heavens Gate both in China so perhaps they got it from them.
