heheheheh, that would be the GGT in it's grant format then?

Seriously, the GGTS already does every single thing except provide the narrow width that some people desire. So that's the point of nagging the bejesus out of Imeo to re-make it. :)

Yes, I know, but I am serious about using that baby on 6V. As with the current possibilities in batties that ain't going to work right IMHO. So make it a little longer, keep it narrow, no telescopic tube and voila the Grant XL

I realise this, but if you want to fit those batts in it, then it's no longer the Grant and it's too fat and too long.
The Grant is needed out there otherwise people will buy, and already are buying other mods in large quantities.

Despite not being a girl (Lisa has met me, I'm a pretty big bloke) a GG that I can easily fit in a shirt pocket and takes a decent battery (10440 is too wimpy 14500 is miles better) would be very interesting.
I've never actually seen a Grant, is the button on the side or base? I greatly prefer the button on the side.

I can indeed confirm that Tyke is indeed a bloke. :D

You didn't examine the interesting items I had with me at York then?. I had my entire GG collection spread out on the table in front of me, including two Grants.

The Grant was a super little mod and although no-where near as versatile as the GGTS, it really has a lot of loyal users to this day and is a really lovely pocketable device with a decent battery life. If the slim is a little too little :) for you, the Grant might be ideal - specially the newer model that Imeo is sure to come out with.

Coupled with a Grant-sized AFS, it's sure to be very very popular. And for those who don't want the Grant itself, a Grant sized AFS would be so cool. I mean, we've got to stop this dripping and carts stuff that so many people are still doing.

Yes exactly! The diameter of the V2 is just a little too wide for use on some other mods on the market today. I don't like using it on my Prodigy V3 cause it just looks too big for it. I think an AFS at about 16-17 mm would be ideal. And I think it should be made of stainless steel for the parts that come into contact with the juice. I know weight is critical and should be kept to a minimum so it needs to be really thin walled. I don't think we really need adjustable draw or even a collection tank on the lower end more affordable Grant w/ AFS. And I really feel the laser hole system works much better and the taste of the juice is much better.... But hey that is just my $0.02 for what that is worth.

Please can you make the Grant diameter AFS compatible with any mods to satisfy those users who want to use it on narrower (other) mods too? some people said the AFS v2 looked a bit silly on some other mods, so a Grant diameter one would suit many more people I think.

I will try to make it as the generic one Lisa

Keith, the lasered atties was an exellent idea when it came to the market. But its a little oldm now because of 2 reasons:

1) Enough people were unable to use it because it had a learning curve
2) Laser holes were different each time
3) You had to turn GG around itself everytime you had burn taste so button was upside down many times so it was uncomfortable
4) Overflooding and burn effects many times while vaping
5) Laser hole couldnt match to all liquids (thin, fat)
6) Expensive atomizers
7) You couldnt use all the liquid inside atty but only the 2/3 of it.

I saw all those problems and I solved all of them at once with the V2

The GGTS AVS will be even better, you will see soon Keith:)

From what ive been seeing they are now making 14500 Limn high drain batteries. I personally think a 14500 GG mod just a tad bit bigger then the battery would be perfect! A 14500 Limn with a LR901/801/510 would be perfect and small packing a punch as well, plus improved battery life. Maybe the new grant can be based on this battery? I thing it could be a great seller and priced right being small and basic...
:toast: Just some thoughts~

Some very good thoughts, Keon, however, I would say that it would be a mistake to base the new Grant on the LiMN 14500 for a few reasons:

Firstly, the LiMN battery is going to be smaller than other 14500s and so this would restrict people to only using that battery due to nothing else being able to fit in the device.

Secondly, you should really only use PCB protected batts with LR atties because you want them to cut-out when they get too discharged - you risk ruining LiMN batts without realising with LR atties.

Thirdly, the capacity of LiMN batts is a lot lower than standard li-ions so you'd be providing users with limited battery life from the get-go.
