I have a Screwdriver. The GG seems like a good device and the chap who makes them seems like a nice enough chap, BUT is there any real reason why I should buy one when I already have a SD? Will the GG give me something extra or different that will add to my vaping experience? (This is a serious question by the way)

I have 2 SDs and have been vaping with the SD for about 2 months.

Last week I got the GG.

The only comparison I can tell you is to go back to vaping with the very first e-cig that you got, and remember what that is like.

Now vape with your SD and remember what that difference is.

Now vape with the SD, then the GG.

I know - you don't have one. But just remember the experience you had comparing your very first e-cig with the SD.

That's the same kind of experience you will get vaping with the GG. Also, like someone mentioned, you can take a lot shorter of a drag and get awesome effects.

Bottom line comparision: It would be like for me to prefer vaping with my very first e-cig over vaping with the SD 8-o

After vaping with the GG and experiencing what the GG provides, I can't imagine going back to the SD.

I would think the same would apply when comparing the SD and the Prodigy.

Total world of difference my friend.

That doesn't actually tell me what I wanted to know - my experience with using a 510 atty and and 901 atty in the SD (NOT a 510 model e-cig please note) merely showed that each atty had its strengths, not that one was better. What exactly does the GG do that is different/better? After all it will be using the same range of atomisers...

Has nothing at all to do the atomizers - I was talking about that e-cig model.

I went back and edited my first post to make it clearer.

If your very first e-cig is the SD, then you wouldn't be able to grasp what I'm trying to say.

Nope SD not first e-cig - still don't follow though - but would like to!

Edited to add - is it hit, flavour, vapour what?

Think about what you're getting when you vape with the SD.

Now amplify the warmth of the vapor, the amount of the vapor, and the throat hit 100%. That's the point I'm trying to make.

Everything with the GG is SO enhanced when comparing it to the SD.

It's absolute vaping heaven!

OK - but why? An e-cig is basically just an atomiser with a battery stuck on the end.. The base characteristics of an e-cig are defined by the atomiser - a 901 is different from a 510 is different from a Penstyle - I know that even using the standard little batteries, a 901 will have more flavour but less vapor than a 510. Putting a big battery on basically merely ensures that the atomiser delivers at peak and for longer.

So with the GG - is the difference all about voltage then? (It's the only thing I can think of that would make ANY atomiser perform differently)

(There are obviously ergonomic and stylistic difference between devices - but that just a matter of taste - the mooted "Transformer" GG appeals to the gadget freak in me)

Exactly - of course it's the volts!

But I would think that you would already know it would be the volts - so that's why I tried to describe the experience.

Geez... is that all I had to say then. Volts... Volts... Volts :D

It is a valid argument for the GG at the moment but sort of implies that the next mod with a bigger battery still will be better...

That's sort of my point - how far do you go with volts - at what point do the volts become a problem - either in terms of atomiser zapping or chemical modification?

ok guys,
I am not into your voltage stuff at all,
I just want to put forward this --

I was smokinh a Light vaper 801
modded from an aluminum flashlite,
with 801 atty of course, and 18650 battery
very good smoke, and decent throat and good juice taste--

then I took the same atty, and the same battery
and put it into my steel tube mod from billyboy,
now the same atty, and same battery is
giving more smoke, and more taste

so you explain what makes the difference,
I dont know, I just know it is different --

the same is true for the billyboy steel tube mod
with 6v batteries,
and then swap the same batteries,
and the same atty over onto the GG
and we get the same improvement in smoke output,
and juice taste -- again ---

so it really does have something to do with the actual device,

I dont know what, or why,
I just know it does -----------

The device is just a battery and atomiser holder - I can't see why that should be the case - but if it works for you...
