I started playing around with some different rebuildable Atty's and I started using this XC116 & XC4-116 Wicking material from Omega Corp and also the 400 SS Mesh.
I made an iAtty yesterday using Both the XC4-116 combined with the SS 400 mesh, I put my pin through my XC4-116 wick and took a small piece of the SS-400 Mesh 1/2" of it and placed it right on top pf the XC4-116 with the pin in the XC4-116. I then wrapped my 3.5ohm 36 GA Kanthal wire around BOTH. With the iAtty I bent the piece of mesh down a little bit to allow the cone to cover it, as long as the XC40-116 wick is touching the SS Mesh it works and keeping the mesh wet and also tames it down from using just the mesh like I was using. For those that are using the iAtty your definitely going to want to use this, it is far better then the wicking material that came with the iAtty as well as the newer wicking material being used too. I think it will also work well with the Ato-miser from NHaler, as well with the CE2 Type Cartos if you want to mod them. I'm also finding for me that the XC4-116 is better then the reg xc-116. Just thought some GG iAtty users and people using the Ato-miser & CE2's and any type of re-buildable type of Atty could try this. This combination of the SS 400Mesh combined with the XC4-116 set up it really kicks .... and the flavor of your liquids is so much better
Edit; Another thing I did was opened up the two slits in the ceramic cup enlarging them ! used my Dremel with a special grinding wheel.
