Hey everyone. I'm in the market for a nicer tank, and am wondering if y'all could help me decide between the GG iAtty/Penelope or the BliSS.

A buddy of mine has all the GG products, and I liked the hit off his iAtty(1) a little more than the dryness(?) of the Penelope. They were both great though, and very consistent. I guess my major problem has been trying to get my hands on one of them, since they're out of stock everywhere.

Then last night I got on the Live Chat here and someone said the BliSS was better. I've read up on them and it seems like it's also a great product.

So, please let me know what you think, especially if you've tried both tanks and can offer some pro's/con's..

Thanks!

IMHO, you're comparing apples to oranges. The bliss is a genesis style atomizer, while the penny is a GF bottom wick tank (with a few nice features).

I have a bliss, it's a beautiful genesis atty, one of the best as far as build quality and features are concerned. Tank shield, great wick options, nice small top chamber, and it looks bananas on a gp paps, wizards apprentice, or P+ (bananas is good).

I've never used a penny, but I have used several other bottom coil glass fiber wick attys, and I have better results with the genesis style. I find the flavor is richer, and to me it is a "purer" vaping experience. There are more wick options, and don't forget consumables. Last time I checked, ceramics for penny's were tough to find. SS mesh and kanthal are everywhere and dirt cheap.

Sorry I couldn't really comment on the penny, I know some people swear by them, but once I discovered genesis style attys and hybrids, there was no going back for me.

You really need to try both types. I tried several genesis styles including bliSS but just didn't care for it. The coil making was a pain in the ... and the hits are harsh but maybe I just couldn't do it right. I have Penelopes and a couple Odysseus now and there's no going back for me. They are very solid, easy to build, have juice flow control and you can lay them on their side or put them in your pocket without fear of it spilling, unlike genesis.
You can find Penelopes or Odys in the classifieds but Odys replacement Ithaka is up for preorder at COV until tomorrow night 9pm eastern.
It not only has built in juice flow control but also air/draw control. And now the ceramic is designed to have the option of dual coils. Check out the GG forum.
Again though, you will be best served if you try both styles to find what suits you most.

Thanks Dredd. Yeah I was definitely confused about them being two totally diff styles.. I'm still a noob, and trying to learn all the lingo available gadgets. I guess I was just looking at dollar amount and figured they were in the same category, but alas, I was wrong.

Appreciate the input.

Thanks RiverNut. I went ahead and pre-ordered the Ithaka and I'm sure it'll be awesome, sometime next year.. :p

I hear you about the pain in the ... for the ATA. If I didn't have a couple dudes down the street w/a shop that knew what they were doing, I would be super frustrated and smoking metal. If by chance u ever wanna give it another shot, let me know and I'll put u in touch w/Eric. He's been on one for a while and has gotten really good at setting them up. Once they're hitting, they put out very nice vapor.

Again, thanks for the feedback..
