Start with everything closed. Open the juice control about a 1/8 to 1/4 turn. Take a few drags without firing the mod till you hear a slight gurgle. Now open the air control ring 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Start vaping and adjust from there. It is going to take practice to get a feel for it, but that should be a good starting point.

Also....I thought I read somewhere that the oring for the window on the topside of the UFS was not needed.....Has that changed?

My ufs has a tight connection and while it probably isn't needed I will keep it on as an extra protection against leaks. It looks kinda funny inmini mode since the o ring shows but to me that is a small price to pay to not worry about leaking

That's what I was thinking....I thought maybe it was supposed to be removed in mini mode because you could see it. Thanks

I think imeo mentioned the new ufs v2 will show the o-ring a little. I have 2 ufs v1 and one show the o-ring too however I tighten it.

All set and running a HH357 at 1.5 ohms.....This things rocks.
I had to open the feed up one full turn with 50pg/50vg.....Is that unusual? It's vamping like a champ. I heard guys only open it 1/4 turn.....And my airflow is open all the way too....
Does that sound right?

What ever is working for you is the right setup. The quarter turn thing is just to give you a starting point.

Anyone ever put a fill screw in the window of the UFS? Is it acrylic or polycarbonate? Just thinking once it's dialed in, it might be easier to fill....rather than take it apart to fill.

I have found the sweet spot on this UFS....18490 Battery....COV 1.5 DC....Feed control opened up all the way, then backed off 1/4 turn....Air control just cracked open slightly= Clouds of vapor....I actually like the COV DC's better than the HH357, which is what I started off using. I can't get over how great this thing works. I think I will need another.
