On the topic of heat: How well does the juice flow control work? I work in a very hot environment, and carto tanks will flood from the heat causing any air in the tank to expand and push juice out. Will the flow control restrict enough to prevent this?

There isn't an o ring to seal it completely when closed but I bet it'll work just fine. Juice flow control is AWESOME!

Edit: and if you do have problems, you can probably put an o ring on it.

I will vape my penelope until she becomes a little warm myself.

I havent had any issue with thin juice, (from heat up)

The Juice flow control seals the atty ceramic more than resonably well, every time I over juice the wick, I seal it and vape right through it all... never had an issue with spitting either

just soes yas knowes

Two good things this morning. Michael's has a 50% off any one item coupon on their website, so I'm off to buy some NR wire. The other good thing is USPS says my Penelope is out for delivery, so it might be waiting for me when I get home from Michael's.

Bourbonman,
I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt, as I see you are fairly new here...Let me explain about mailcarrier stalking for you. When you receive confirmation that you have a delivery of the caliber such as a Penelope, about to arrive, you DO NOT leave the house! It is advisable that you do not let the mailbox out of your sight. If a bathroom break becomes necessary, you will have a trusted counterpart step in for you and they are to keep the mailbox in view the whole time you are away. In a best case scenario, you position your line of sight so you have a view of the direction that the postal employee is known to approach from. This way the package never even has to go in the mailbox, you can be in the street to assure there is no accidental driveby which has been known to happen in the past.
Take this info and go forward young one, and be a better vaper with it. Think of it this way, whats more important, half off the price of wire or the great Penelope?

LMAO, I do thank you for the advice. The most important thing was to have them both before I have to go to work in case I eff up the wire that comes with Penelope. This is isn't my first obsession that has involved stalking, but there are priorities, and then there are Priorities. Having Penelope in hand is a priority, being able to vape her is a Priority. But thank you for the compliment, nobody's referred to me as a "young one" in a decade or two. :toast:

I love this community we call the ECF :)

Oh, and I have them both in hand, gotta make a coil and get my you-know-what to work!
Cheers!

I just ordered wick from these guys. It took 5 minutes to get a shipping notice.

Question though. Dont you need two different types of wire. Is this the wire that wraps around the wick or the other wires that go on the ends?

Im still trying to figure out if I go buy this silver wire at Michaels what other wire do I need and where do I get it.

When stalking the mail man I let my dogs do it for me...

It's a good system. I work in my office and the dogs let me know when the mailman is still three doors down. By the time he gets here I already have the door open and my hand out. I do this because I've had issues in the past and even two issues last week. On two occasions last week my postal carrier only handed me letters and I had to ask for my packages. In one instance it was in his bag and he simply forgot about it and in the second instance he had already "delivered" it two houses down from me.

EJRTWS(Early Jack Russell Terrier Warning System) is in full effect until all my goodies actually land in my hand. The dogs get a reward every day when they warn me that the mail man is close. Everyone wins.

Yep, all you need now is the NR wire to go down the ends...I just got mine from Michael's in the jewelry making section. Bead Landing 28 Gauge silver wire.
