Order in Customs. I hope to get the parts tomorrow and ship by Tuesday/Wednesday.
Not sure when the GGTS will be available again. I have an estimate date on the site as 4-15. That is an estimate only.

Engraved tubes are out of stock. None coming as of now.

That sounds great Bruce! Hopefully you do get them in by Monday. If not, no biggie, life goes on:D

You could not too long ago, kami, but currently I can't find the listing on the site. Maybe he took it down since he didn't have any stock?

So I could purchase a new bottom tube and change the serial number of my GG? That seems odd to me for some reason...... But......... might be it makes sense .............the device is so easy to modify or build from parts Bruce and the family sell and exchange............hmmmmm

Kami, I believe it's to cover cases of damaged bottom tubes.

Does this sound like what I would need to order to make my full collector minus the top cap which I already have one of. And does anyone know if there is a steel connector or is it only available in nickel or brass?

That's all you need, and I haven't seen a steel replacement connector on cov, just nickel and brass.

Thats it. Only other thing you might need is the atty connector oring. The atty connectors are made in ss but I have never seen any spares for sale. Currently, it seems the only way to get one is off a ssggts.

I thought the nickel or brass connectors came with all the orings that were originally installed on that part. Is this not the case?

I bought a nickel connector and it came with an o ring.

I've bought two brass connectors both came w/o orings. But thats why I said 'you might need'.

I have put together two TS's from new bottom tubes and spare parts. Thanks Imeo and Bruce. You give us the options to build the mods we want how we want them. I can't think of any other makers and/or resellers that are so in tune with their customers.

Thank you Capt' and grateful.............. my only experience with the importance of serial numbers has been in a collection of automobiles (small collection.... like 3) anyway it is so very important that all the numbers are matching, indicating the intrinsic value of the auto. So if I had GG #1 but had newer parts attached to the bottom tube it's value would not be the same as if all other parts were GG#1 ...get what I mean?? Probably pretty silly actually, it's a PV for crying out loud..... but a GG PV :p

This silly curiosity was caused by an opportunity to trade for a Grant, and having no clue as to it's real value. I suspect other opportunities will present themselves in the future and I just want to prepare myself. Thank you guys. :)

I own multiple ggs for their beauty and performance not as a speculative investment. Having said that I totally understand your pov. I honestly couldn't sell any of my ggs even if I wanted to as I wouldn't feel comfortable asking for what they are worth to me. Another thing to consider is that as long as you keep all the original parts re-assembling a 'numbers-matching gg#1' would be a non-issue.

I do love the passion that seems to come with owning a gg. It means so much to so many. Way beyond the value of the materials and workmanship and way,way beyond the cost. Glad I could help and love being part of this family. :)

Glad to hear others are as fascinated with their GGs as I am. I've gone through a number of really good mods but with these I just love everything about them. Can't imagine giving them up. My only problem with my ggs is fear of scratches. Was worried about scratching the bottom so was looking for a jewelry box and a stand so that I could put felt on the bottom. 1/2 way through I reallized that I was out house shopping for my PVs  Think I need a 12 step program.

I buffed my SS GGTS last night with a buffing wheel on my grinder, using brown rouge, then green, and finally white rouge. It looks like new again, in 20 minutes. It took longer to wipe it clean after polishing than the polishing took itself.

Wish I had some equipment and mad buffing skills. My Ts's are pristine though.. could be shinier but need to get some simicrome or whatever it is you all use.

All kidding aside I do think we need a GG Hut of sorts. A stand that would protect these beauties in our vape station and offer a bit of storage for our accessories. Something worthy of a GG. Would help us in keeping these looking good.
