Thank you Capt' and grateful.............. my only experience with the importance of serial numbers has been in a collection of automobiles (small collection.... like 3) anyway it is so very important that all the numbers are matching, indicating the intrinsic value of the auto. So if I had GG #1 but had newer parts attached to the bottom tube it's value would not be the same as if all other parts were GG#1 ...get what I mean?? Probably pretty silly actually, it's a PV for crying out loud..... but a GG PV
This silly curiosity was caused by an opportunity to trade for a Grant, and having no clue as to it's real value. I suspect other opportunities will present themselves in the future and I just want to prepare myself. Thank you guys.
