HELP PLEASE lol. Ok, so my premade wire and wick showed up. Im assuming it is premade wire since there is only one wire and it seems to be made of two diff. gauges.

Ok, I was watching Scotts vid of the Oddy but what I have is the drip mode only.

Ive wrapped the wick with the center section of the wire and cut the wick off same as he suggested at the bottom o-ring.

Here is the question now. One side has a ceramic channel. The other side is a metal channel. Which wire do I screw in between the bottom nut, the metal side or the all ceramic side, or does it not matter. And then what do I do with the wire on the other side?

The ceramic side goes to the bottom post, the metal side gets clipped off at the base.

Ok, great. I just also noticed that I dont have one of those retaining rings I just saw in another vid. Does the new version not have that ring. I noticed in the vid I was watching he had ceramic on both sides also even in his drip mode oddy.

All versions have rings. But different sizes, drip mode is thinner

Crap, mine definitely does not have a ring. It has the tiny one at the bottom but not the one that holds the wick down on both sides. I guess Im just out of luck. Argh.

Just received my Penelope today and have already gone through a tank of juice. The biggest thing that I have noticed and like is that it does not get hot, my old tank system would get very warm to the touch. To those that have both the Ody and Pene, have you noticed that on the Ody, that it stays cool. My old tank system is one I got from TW, I believe it is a 1.5 ohm atty.

Yup. Just sent in a message on the COV site. Im so bummed out right now. I hadnt even opened the oddy up until now since I didnt have the wick and wire yet. Im kinda crushed. My Pene should be here by Sat though.

supervape - c8h10n4o2 is the chemical formula for caffeine and x2 means time 2. I chose that because I am a real big coffee drinker.

The length of the wire determines the resistance. so in my experience a 2.5 inch piece of 32 will come out to about 2.5Ω. The thickness of the wick determines how many times a 2.5 inch piece will go around it. Does that make sense?

EDIT: happy at 6 volts.. new coils taste like poopy metal ;(

Ody and Penelope work without the big ring around the ceramic housing dir. But mouthpiece will not be able to totally close on the ceramic housing, so you will have liquid control but you will not be able to totally close the liquid. But it will work either
