Try putting your wire under a flame until it gets red hot. I've been told that it will get rid of the metallic taste.
That will work and just vaping will have the same effect, but you have to deal w taste for a while. Running it at that many watts, the taste should go away pretty fast.
I always do that but it still tastes likke junk for about an hour

I'm still on my first coil so I have not gotten to try it yet, but yeah I had a funky taste for the first ml or so.
So what do you guys think? These devices are amazing aren't they? I got an Ody a few weeks ago and I'm in love. Today I received a Pen and an Ody extender kit, oh yes and my silver wire from Israel, and my wick from the USofA. Today may of been the best vapemail day ever!!

i looked at it
said "looks cool"
and put it away...and went right back to vaping the iatty2 ...i absolutely LOOOOOOOOVE this system. i want to save the penelope for the Proteus.

lol, well there IS one out there ;-) Decadent Vapors has a flavor called Vanilla Ice, it's vanilla with a twist of mint
Yep, Ody stays pretty cool, even with 6v vaping. The base does get a little bit warm vaping 6v on a low ohm dual coil setup, but even then not nearly as hot as those DCTs you're referring to.
mine gets warm but not to warm it cools quickly too ..I am one happy guy here lol
Because Vanilla Ice sucked in the 80's, didn't do anything better in the 3 decades that followed, and I for one do not want to taste his juice ... lol~!

Good lord the heat has cooked my brain....I actually googled "bad ace coil" thinking it was some new technique.....then I was all like "Oh. Duh."
lol! also with that silver wire it or offer I offered 10$ shipped and they took it its only 1$ but still
