Congratulations for your new GG drip tips cali:)

Taste on VIR depends on VIR itself and not on wire cali. To my opinion, the wires play a very very small role on taste. A wire is just a wire. The main reasons on taste are the air that comes on atomizer, (the way it comes and the amount it comes), the liquid and the wick.

ESG Ti wires are not the ones you will use on VIR. VIR requires Titanium grade 1 to work. BUT, VIR works with ESG titanium and with every titanium out there. In fact, it works with any wire (except nichrome and kanthal). BUT these wires dont work according to VIR functions but always at maximum power like mechanicals. So VIR can work as a mechanical too.

As you see, VIR doesnt need any specific wire to work. Even if its a temp control device, it works in other ways too. BUT if you really want to have temp control, (that means no burn taste, no dry hits, no acrolein, no formaldehyde, no achetaldeyde and who knows what else), you need Ti1

ps....... I never wanted to give you that information because I want all of you to vape the safe way. But I see that some people ask me all the time about options. So, you have the options but better dont use them guys

In my humble opinion, Tilemahos is the easiest atty to build. Easier than drippers too. Right now I am using 0.30 Kanthal A1, 6 wraps over 2.5mm drillbit. Around 1.3ohms, (14 watts on a regulated device).

Wicking with Koh gen do: I cut a 7mm strip, then i remove the upper and lower layer. It slides through the coil easily, but not snug. I then cut the tails flush with the outer diameter of the evaporation chamber. No cotton running through those channels, just the tips of the cotton sitting on top of those channels.

Liquid control open at 5 fully turns and this is working perfect for the 80VG/20PG juice i use. No gurgling, no dry hits, full on flavour and loads of vapor.

I have no expertise in RTAs or something, and I am very new to the Tilemahos, so I do not give any credit to my build regarding the performance. I do however believe, that it is very difficult (if not impossible) to make a bad build on Tilemahos. It is very straightforward.

Guys I guess I tried all the wires I have here at my office - in many different gauges ... i tried regular bio cotton and also muji cotton ... and you can easily do it all on the TILEMAHOS ... the first build was a parallel coil like i do it on my ithakas with 0,30 kanthal wire (my good friend Mr. BREM taught me that - thank you by the way buddy) on a 2 mm drill - 6 turns microcoil - comes out at around 0,62 ohms ... works absolutely beautiful ... my favorite cotton is the MUJI cotton ... perfect transportation of the juice - and i either cut it flush or split it in half and stuff half of it inside the chamber ... I also did bishop's 0,42 ohm coil which runs regular on one of my tilemahoses ... just love it ... and my recent builds are all with pure stainless steel wire ... reacts faster ... 0,40 V2A on 2,5 mm drill - 6, 7 or 8 turns ... awesome ... so I think you are right IMEO whatever is easy to build and quick - just works ... even for us coil rookies :) but the masterpiece in the tilemahos for me personally is how the air travels ... i just love it - I have a 22mm matt tilemahos here to fit my GG4S but this is for sure not going to be the last one ... THANK YOU again IMEO !!!

well I have to admit IMEO - that I found another thing I really like - building and rebuilding and building and rebuilding and OH MY GOD - doing it all over again :) :) :) in between I really enjoy mixing my own juices and all of that not only brings me joy but another problem ... maybe you should think about opening up an institution for "re-building" girlfriends ... if you did that - you would be rich and famous in no time ... thank god my office is a forbidden area for my girlfriend - otherwise I would have a problem ... although recently she keeps on asking - "is that new" ??? my standard answer - no I just borrowed that from a friend in germany :) :) :) she also keeps asking me what I want to have for my 50st birthday not without adding - that I should choose something "real" - not gear for vaping :) :) thank god she doesn't know that I already did a spanish order :) :) in the meantime she always keeps asking if she should help me with bringing order in my office desk ... for sure NOT ... if she would open my drawers I would have to take her shopping for the next 15 weeks :) :)

sorry guys - just something rather funny out of a vapers social life :) HAVE a great weekend out there !!!

i usually use e-juice too but "once in a while" when rebuilding I usually take everything apart and use vaseline on the parts I don't take apart so often because I bought one used ithaka where you couldn't move the single pieces at all ... did a little freezor treatment and with my rubbergloves (I guess my girlfriend is still laughing about me) I managed to solve the problem - since then I once in a while use vaseline and never had a problem again ...
