Imeo, I got my GG4S a few days ago and am very happy, this is my first GG and it is a real pleasure to use. I especially appreciate the nice action and ease of use of the button, as well as the great threading. It is definitely my go-to 18650 now :)

I did encounter a bit of a sticky button issue today but I just tightened up the button screw and the issue went away. So not a problem, but I would still like to understand - was it that the button was going up at a slight angle if I pressed it on the side, causing the small screw to catch on the lip of the side hole?

I am glad that you got it and you are happy with GG4S four:)

Button stuck for 1 moment because maybe a small metal piece that left from machining prevent its movement. Please put off the button and clean it with mesh from inside. Then clean the tube where the button moves on it. Thats it

I haven't been hanging out on the forum much anymore and look what you did while I was gone. I wasn't expecting you to make a whole new mod before the Proteus was ready. Must stay on my toes around you. And mine should be here Monday. :)

great my dear! You will have the most pleasant vaping experience with this really tinny GG at 18650 mode. :)

I too encountered a sticky button. It wasn't constant, but enough to bug me.
So after studying the motions of the button in each hole around the sides, I ended up beveling the little pin that goes in the holes. This has virtually eliminated any sticking for me.
Here's a pic with it almost ready. And of course I polished it too, to help lessen friction ;)

Sticky button is a matter of cleaning the inside of the button buddy. If you use mesh for cleaning you will be more than ok.

The pin is already inside the holes so it cant make button get stuck. Polishing it was a very good move of course.

Maybe you unscrewed the pin and put it back? Then button may get stuck if you did this because the screwdriver changed very little its shape and because the tolerance between pin and holes is small the pin may touched the inside of the holes. Thats why I have said that is never a good move to unscrew the pin. There is no reason to do that :)

The pin on mine is actually just catching the lock hole and not completely through, and the sharp edge of the pin would 'snag' the hole. The tiny bevel I put on the locking pin has eliminated that.

Mine came in yesterday Imeo. I am really enjoying it. I can't believe how small it is. It's only a whisker taller in 18650 than my Esterigon in 18350 and I really appreciate the smaller size. I run my tube mods in 18500 or 18350 only, so to have a mod running about the size of an 18350 with the capacity of an 18650 is awesome. It's much simpler to take apart and clean also. Glad I picked it up!

wondeful pics JM. As for the cleaning method, it really works better than anything else, yes? It keeps the mat finish when polishing creams and our hands from the everyday use make it shined
