GGTB battery springs?

I've had a couple bad cartomizers and the spring has collapsed (hot spring?), won't spring now or keep it's shape any longer. Is there any DIY solution for these? I checked cov and they have been out of stock for awhile.

Check in your local Radio Shack they have springs that fit
