My spring is from second batch GGTB,note: I cut 2 0r 3 turns off mine as IMO it fit better all battery combinations I stress its just my opinion YMMV.This is a very strong spring made from spring steel so it wont collapse easily anyway here's some pics that may help.

The spring cut down,

two RCR123 in place note the thread showing inside the GGTB,get your spring like this and you wont have a problem with any battery and it wont collapse BTW there's no rattle at all once caps are on, both caps will close fully too.

smokie, I made the springs. When I say that I make them I mean that I design them and a machine makes them for me. I cant make springs of course. I dont mod them they come ready as I order them.

Those springs are steel and there is no better quality smokie. My quality is the best on all GG products. As for the tension, a spring at 0,6mm width has the right tension. A stronger one will bring you broblems with the back cap when you will try to screw it on the GG body.

You have to buy everything from the US seller smokie. The other suppliers will serve the rest of the world.

John has not the latest spring, BuGG has it.

New spring is hard but soft enough to work like a fuse. Its 0,6 mm in width and fits all batteries because its long too.

John, yes the second batch that was again only a few GGTBs have your spring. But the big batch of 750 units that I made lately have the cone spring that BuGG post here:)

in here somewhere USA
smokie;

Clouds of Vapor has not received the shipment yet. I did see some small springs in the plumbing section this morning in the hardware store. They were with the o-rings, which is what I was looking at. The springs did come with two little rubber things that you don't need, but the spring looked to be about the right size. In the alternative, and not saying this is a good idea, imeo will probably want to strangle me for saying this, you could fashion an emergency disposable one from aluminum foil.

Keep in mind, these are just emergency suggestions, not permanent. We have to wait until COV gets the shipment to order the permanent pieces.

Thank you for your idea, but I was waiting for Imeo's response since my money went in his pocket. I should not have to find a remedy, or have to Mod a spring, this is a Brand New Mod. Since we are on the subject of GGTB springs the button spring is also GARBAGE, but I knew that before buying, and I did spend the extra money for the replacement magnets. Now without these replacement magnets the Mod DOES NOT activate all the time, had a lot of misfires.
