one of the most beautiful GG out there fright!! Be well and thanks a lot for this photo buddy:):)
Finally got home to this beauty. This is a priceless addition to my little GG collection.

BTW it is not nearly as dark as in the photos but apparently I can't take a picture to save my life.

These all look great. I love how you finish them and keep the character of the wood. Not too glossy like a pool stick or bowling alley. I wonder if you could use a wood burning kit or a soldering iron to put a small signature or a big GG emblem branded on the side?
Does anyone use these or are they mostly just looked at? If I had one, it would not leave the house.

Hi Dr
Thanks. I use mine everyday. Proper wood finish should be "in the wood", not on the surface in order to expose the grain. In my first ones, I used a combination or varnish/linseed oil, essentially gunstock finish. The subsequent batches used CA which is an epoxy that penetrates into the wood. This finish is very robust and durable and totally waterproof so it won't be affected by humidity, sweat or juice

Years ago I used to hand carve rifle stocks. As you can see, I used to smoke back then
