can you answer a question for me please?


this device is called a GGTB............with "TB" meaning Telescopic Battery. is that correct?

the reason i ask is that i purchased a GGTB from the UK supplier yesterday but have just received an email from him to say that if i want the telescopic section (or false battery as he described) then i have to send him a further £12.99 !!

he said that the telescopic battery is a separately purchased item and not part of the GGTB............but if its not an integral and included part of the GGTB then why is it actually called a GG"TB"??

when i purchased, the website made no mention what so ever that i would have to pay £12.99 extra if i wanted to have the telescopic battery included..........it just said "GGTB - £43.99"

if the website description had said i had to pay extra if i wanted the telescopic battery then fair enough, but im not going to pay out any more money for a part i feel should have been included as standard! lol

after all, how can it be a GG"TB" if that part isnt included as part of the sale? its like buying a 3D TV only to be told the next day that if i want it to be 3D i will have to pay extra!

please let me know your thoughts on this matter

I'm 99.9% sure that the vendor is incorrect, the GGTB includes the telescopic battery, sounds like the vendor is trying to pull a swifty to me.
Edit: I might be wrong on this even though it doesn't make sense to me. Here's the description on Hopes site;

Will be similar to GG Grant. Takes 1 or 2 16340 or 17340 batteries. 901 connector. Locking button. Optional Battery Telescope

I feel the same way, Imeo didn't say anything about the TB being a separate purchase, it's no longer an economical option if you have to spend more to get a part that should be included.

I don't know Skull but it just doesn't seem right, isn't the whole purpose of this GGTB(TB) = Telescopic Battery as Imeo has called this unit and shows in his video I would surely think it should come as advertised.!

no, you're right scott. imeo said in an earlier post that it would be 69 euros for the GGTB, up from apparently 59 a week before. but that would be the GG plus the TB, and perhaps Krom is somehow selling them separately. without the telescopic battery you definitely don't have a GGTB, it has to come with it.

well i purchased the last one which would indicate that all the others they had in stock have been sold too. but the email stated that the telescopic battery section had not been added to the website yet..........which would suggest that all the other people who purchased before me will be getting the same email asking for more money.

it takes literally seconds to update a shop website so there is no excuse for not advertising the GGTB with the correct information. and if the telescopic battery section is indeed a separately purchased item that is not meant to be included as part of the sale then that separate item should have been listed on the site too.........again, it only takes a few seconds to add a product to a website

Yeah, I agree with ya guys, I would think the GGTB... With the TB in the name, it would come with it..... I mean, Thats what I would think....

Otherwise it is a GG, with a addon TB... right? I am sure Imeo will clarify this......

If what Scott's been told is correct then it's a spectacularly stupid decision, the GGTB should come with the TB bit. If the TB is a seperate purchase then it should be clearly stated as such on the websites and the video for that matter.

At the moment it looks like false advertising which isn't legal in the UK, any customers not happy with the situation would be entitled to all their money back (including postage both ways).
