The batch that I will send to my sellers tomorow is mat nickel-plated bronze. For one more time the units are very few. I will send 15 units to each seller and I am preparing the big batch immediately after this shipment.

Also maybe I will make it 1mm fatter so the AVS for it will have the same diameter. I want to make an AVS for ggtb that will hold enough liquid, and 1mm more in diameter gives 1 ml more quantity inside AVS.

please consider keeping the units the same size so that the coming AVS will match the diameter of all the GGTB models.

I don't know how practical a suggestion this is to you, but since an awful lot of atomisers and cartomisers now come with 510 rather than 901 connectors could you make the GGTB with a 510 connector instead? That or offer an alternative end cap to be sold seperately?

I've probably got 20 510 atomisers for every 901 I've got.

+ 1 :D

i may be wrong, but i think i recall reading that imeo chose the 901 connector in order to keep the overall length down.

Scott, I dont think I said that. Of course its a fact that 510 connector will make the GG bigger but the total length of an e-cig with 510 atomizer is less than an e-cig with 901 atomizer because 510 is shorter. But the good thing with the 901 connector is that keeps length of the whole unit with atomizer attached thinner in bigger length

Tyke, as perp said you can use an adapter. You will have the same GG length but thinner in bigger length as I said before

ive been using the GGTB now for a few days and its a very nice little device. even with a battery in its extremely light, threads all screw together nicely, usual good locking button and vapes very well. was taking some product shots for a biscuit company today so whilst i had all the gear set up i thought id take one of the GGTB too:-

Can you give some detail about your lighting and camera settings? I assume a black acrylic sheet...white background?

hi mate,

i used a light cube with a black acrylic riser. like i said, i was actually in the process of shooting dog biscuits so originally i was using a white riser with a white backdrop but then just changed the riser to a black one.........however, i didnt bother changing to a black back drop which is why the riser is more grey than black, lol

for lighting i was using 2 soft boxes, one either side, but i removed the diffusers on the soft boxes as the sides of the light cube diffuse the light enough.

for the camera, i shot in the RAW format using a 105mm Sigma Macro lens. i used an F number of around F18 to make sure the majority of the GGTB stayed in focus, 400 ISO and i think a fairly slow shutter speed of around 0.3" (cant recall)

in Photoshop CS5 i then increased the blacks, little saturation and a touch of contrast then changed it to a JPEG.

it was just a quick pic and if i was to do it properly then i would use a silver reflector placed inside the light cube to remove the white sections that show up on the GGTB body caused by the white light.

cheers,

scott
