Can you give some detail about your lighting and camera settings? I assume a black acrylic sheet...white background?
hi mate,
i used a light cube with a black acrylic riser. like i said, i was actually in the process of shooting dog biscuits so originally i was using a white riser with a white backdrop but then just changed the riser to a black one.........however, i didnt bother changing to a black back drop which is why the riser is more grey than black, lol
for lighting i was using 2 soft boxes, one either side, but i removed the diffusers on the soft boxes as the sides of the light cube diffuse the light enough.
for the camera, i shot in the RAW format using a 105mm Sigma Macro lens. i used an F number of around F18 to make sure the majority of the GGTB stayed in focus, 400 ISO and i think a fairly slow shutter speed of around 0.3" (cant recall)
in Photoshop CS5 i then increased the blacks, little saturation and a touch of contrast then changed it to a JPEG.
it was just a quick pic and if i was to do it properly then i would use a silver reflector placed inside the light cube to remove the white sections that show up on the GGTB body caused by the white light.
cheers,
scott
