That is true. It seems to be working great now! So I think I fixed it. Only problem is the button sticks but I think it will free up the more I use it. Thanks again for all your help and suggestions. And I finally got my 28g Nichrome and wound a 1.0 ohm coil. This things is hitting like a monster now. Now I know what people are talking about the vape being fuller.

For anyone that doesn't know this. Sanding the finish off the end of the button and the pole with the spring will give you better contact and a better vape. I was just reading this on the CCTS/K100 co-op thread and thought I would share. I plan to do this to mine tomorrow.

I'm thinking this could be why mine isn't hitting that great... I'll have to try this!

Well I might have taken off too much. Now it's worse. I am having intermittent trouble. Sometimes I am only getting partial connection. I measured the out put with a multimeter and I get like 2.7 volts when I press it down and sometimes the full 3.8 volts my battery is at........ this sucks........

I had similar issues with my CCTS until I used NOALOX on the threads.

Noalox does have zinc in it to make it conductive.
Zinc yes - for cunductivity no

Per manufacturer intent:

Anti-oxidant
Reduces galling and seizing on aluminum conduit joints
Suspended zinc particles penetrate and cut aluminum oxide
Carrier material excludes air to prevent further oxidation
Improves service life of aluminum electrical applications

Specifically designed for use on Aluminum products as a protectant

I should have worded my statement differently.

I decided to buzz the male threaded parts with a wire wheel. Takes the plated stuff off in a jiffy. Using two wraps of duct tape on adjacent surfaces will preserve them, np.

Performance is more consistent now.

Might do the same with the female threads, but need to find a smaller wheel.

I read somewhere that someone did that to kinda smooth up the threads. Called it a whiz wheel. Ahh..... it was Rynoserious.
