So I was out and about today with my volt and a spare in my the coat pocket I used to keep my analog's in. The batter dies so I quick swap it with the spare and it's acting weird, half firing, sometimes not firing at all. I check to make sure it's not too lose or tight and it all seems fine. It works but it's acting very erratic.

I finally get home and start really inspecting it, grab the flashlight and what do I see? Some little pieces of tobacco have gotten inside the battery connection. I grab a can of air to blow them out and now it's working as reliably as I've come to expect.

The moral...be careful, even loose bits of tobacco will try to sabotage you to get you back to analogs!:glare:

I use the 65/78's when out and about and have run into the same stray tobacco shreds getting into the silocone tip of the carto. I end up spitting bits of analog, then look at the carto tip and it's covered in the little rascals! Ewwww..................!

See, it's a plot by the little renegade bits of tobacco...we need to figure out if these are just random attacks or if they are somehow coordinating with each other...maybe telepathy...

Oh, crap, my paranoia may be showing...
