Take a look at the Chameleon. It comes with the ability to do 3.7v and adapters (that are tight fitting) for the 510,901,801 and as we all know 901=carto's. Then there is the extension sleeve you can purchase that allows for 6v. A 1 year button warranty that also includes cleaning of all contacts. Button is placed for no accidental firings if in purse or pocket. Soon we will have a passthrough option-Ya! Scratch resistant, also. I have pics in an album here. Or go to ikenvape.

I was looking at some of the mods. I really need something that doesn't draw too much attention to itself though.

Plus, I'd collected a decent amount of 510 batteries, atties and chargers. I agonized over the eGo/Tornado because it looked sweet and I was reading such good things about it.

I passed the one month smoke-free mark and justified buying the kit as a reward :) (plus - I'm a year single this month and don't have to answer to anybody! hahah! I still feel a little like a rebellious teenager :p )

I went with the Tornado. Both the eGo and Tornado were sold out when I was looking and the Tornado was available again before the eGo.

I thought the price was a tiny bit better because of the extra atomizer.

I've had it since Friday and I haven't put it down. I'm a heavy vaper. I mean, constant, like a pacifier in my mouth. I'm getting 10+ hours on a single battery.

Compared to the 45 minute battery swap routine I'd been into with the regular 510? Wow. I packed all my 510 stuff up and put it in my vaping box.

I was a little worried about the size. I'm really little and I didn't want it to feel like a big cigar or feel big or bulky in my hand... no worries there, it's very sleek and comfortable. It feels great. I can even still hold it between my teeth. (I use flat tipped carts).

I think it vapes better than my 510. It's got a great feeling draw and the vape feels, fuller?? Warmer and thicker somehow (for lack of better descriptives)

It's as consistent on the last hit before the battery dies as it is on the first. There is no decline in performance as the hours go by.

Wow - that sounded like a commercial - lol!

For anyone who doesn't like the devil head logo (I've seen people mention that) - it's very inconspicuous and not even noticeable on the tip of the battery.

Geesh, I sure can blather on and on... and on... lol

Oh, did I mention I like it?

I'm really "girly" as well, and if it came in pink or sparkly, I'd be all over it :)

I have a gold plated Indulgence that I have been using exclusively because I haven't gotten my chuck yet. It is really pretty but the plating will eventually come off, I would imagine. Mine hasn't yet but just saying...it is one of the cheaper ones. I will say I am worried about how my Chuck will fit in my hand. The Indulgence fits my hand perfectly!!! It comes with all of the attachments (4 of them) for the more popular ecigs. The Kr8 attachment on mine tends to draw too much air but I got one of the first ones so that may have been addressed.

I'm glad I have time to look at all these reccomendations before making my decision. Think when the hubs gets home for mid tour next month I'll show him the options and have him help me talk my way through them. Promise to let you ladies know what I've settled on and why too :) until then? Anyone else with feedback, it's more then welcome. I don't mind "sounding like a commercial" I do too when I'm showing off my "toys" to my still smoking friends.

Boy has everyone been helpful! I don't research mods anymore..I like what I have and I already have my backup in case of emegency. I also know I don't need or want a high volt device. My one try made me cough and have a time catching my breath. yeah, I know I am a wimp!:p

Remie, I wanted to welcome you to the Women's Room! If you have posted before now, I must have missed it!:)

Thank you Mary Kay! I'm glad I found this section!

I am not a big fan of the "killer throat hit" - When I've experienced it, I haven't found it very pleasurable. What I've read about the higher volt mods tells me that they deliver a whopping throat hit. If that's the case, I probably wouldn't like it very much.

So, I must be a wimp too! I don't like the feeling of inhaling and even being on the verge of coughing. I was lucky enough to be able to quit smoking and stop coughing!

I don't enjoy "harsh" e-juice either. I'm a fan of the smooth and mellow :)

I've been torn between the Spade, the BB, and the BSB.

The spade just looks so sharp to me, but my concern is that i'll be changing batteries like I already do...way too often.

I was looking at the Black Beauty, for it's size and the batter life.

I was looking at the Black Silver bullet because of it's extremely long battery life and 6v vaping option.

I wish they'd release the joker already...it looks like it'd be perfect 5v vaping.

I have a protege, and I have I guess you call it, a nicostick. BLack little box that uses a 14500 battery. My hubby built it for me from the info given on the forum. It works great ! I like the box a little better than the protege. Seems to put out more vapor. I like lots of vapor. I would also like to get a chuck some day when I can.

The Nicostick was my first mod..what a work horse! 7 hour battery is not bad at all! I have owned only 2 in 10 months..not bad for a $25.00 mod. (I bought mine) You can get an adapter for almost any atomizer or cartomizer. I have one of the battery extenders for the 901 that does the job. I think people have been dressing them up a bit too. Carlos, a former member here makes one called a juice box that houses a small bottle of juice as well as a battery so you can just squeeze the bottle (thru a cutout in the box) and never have to refill your cart! His colors are nice!

I have 2 mods...the GGTS and a Protégé.

My GGTS is rather large but really pretty since I have the silver one. It has never miss-fired and vapes like a fiend even at 3.7v with one 14500 battery. This is my home/car use device due to the size.

The Protégé is smaller and also looks nice but I have to add a caveat. It miss-fires constantly due to issues with the switch. They are getting ready to send out a 3rd fix for it...here is hoping it solves the issue. I want to use this one as my "out in public" device.

I am also considering buying a GGSlim. It is even smaller than the Protégé.

Thank you ladies for this thread. Have been researching mods for weeks now and after all my months of vaping, as of today, I have entered Modland. VP2 is on the way. It was a toss up between Mega Titan/Magnum, Tornado/Ego, but they defeat the purpose of cheap batts. I like their looks. After using my PS PT @5V, I must agree with some of you, that is truly the "sweet spot". I am watching the progress of the "Joker" with great interest.

We're building a box mod! Hubs is home this month, and I showed him the forums (esp the modders bit) he loves to fiddle with things and is SURE that between us we can build a box mod. I just need to find a battery supplier ASAP.
He also want's to make a flashlight (or simular) mod. But we're starting with the box.

I've been back and forth with the vaping for months, and finally decided to order a Chuck about a week ago. It might be too big to carry around, but my real problem with switching completely is at home, so if I have something that's consistent and dependable at home, it might finally make the difference between where I am stuck now and where I (and my taste buds) want to be. I was thrilled to see and read through this post... I had a hard time deciding between the eGo/Tornado and the Chuck. I may end up getting an eGo down the line for out and about, but we'll see. One thing at a time.

I want the Joker, too! The purple one looks awesome. Have you guys seen this yet:

It's nice that they are really considering safety concerns.
