Hello fourtytwo,
thanks for the welcome
Hi Peter. You may want to make a new post entitled "Problems With My DID". I just don't want to see your post get buried.
Best of Luck.
P.S. Your English is far better than my German could ever be![]()
Hello Peter and welcome. I am also researching DiD. I think you may either have a shorted coil , too fine stainless steel mesh for the viscosity of your liquid or the airhole on the top cap is not aligned in front of wick.
Also your communication is easily comprehensible.
Good Luck.
If this is your first genesis, there is a steep learning curve but once you get to know the device it is very much worth it. Best of luck!
Hey Peter, welcome to ECF. First, shorts/ hot spots would give you a terrible burnt/ harsh vape so it doesnt sound like that is an issue. As NancyR stated it would be helpful to know what type and gauge of wire you are using for the coil and have you checked the ohms on it. Also what type of device are you using, 3.7 volts or variable? If you have a high res coil and vape it at 3.7 the results would be dissapointing. Also with the DID, and Genesis style atomizers in general, the angle you hold your PV at can make a big difference, hold it horizontal or there abouts for the best wicking and vape. Also if the wick is flooded it will give you very little vape. If this is your first genesis, there is a steep learning curve but once you get to know the device it is very much worth it. Best of luck!
