Flavor shopping both in my stash and online. Yield is a lot of light fruity tastes. I love them, and they have their place in my rotation, but the only thing that really REALLY satisfies me is a carto clogger. I have a few favorites lately, a coffee you can't see through it's so dark; vanilla, snickerdoodle, dark honey tobacco and RY4 flavors from Aroma, you see where I'm going with this.

The only diy I've been able to successfully make is my own coffee extract, and the aforementioned fruits. The caramels and vanillas I've tried were epic fails, and I've never tried a tobacco mix.

I know this can be done, with your help! Thanks in advance.

I recently extracted a pipe tobacco that is a mix of Dominican cigar and black cavendish. Mixed at 10% with 1 drop per ml of ethyl maltol and it is as rich as I care to vape. Maybe a little chocolate would add some depth, but I haven't tried it yet.
And if you can extract coffee, tobacco should be a breeze. I'm after a good straight black cavendish next!

This one is insanely good. Not mine- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-recipes/279799-str8v8ping-gooey-butter-cake.html
It doesn't taste like Gooey Butter Cake to me, more like a sweet roll with light cinnamon. It will get dark and clog your stuff. lol
This one is mine, a fruit and tobacco- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-recipes/403947-monkey-my-bacco.html
I go through so much of this. Last time I added Vaping Zone's SC Island Tobacco, just 2 drops per 10 ml along with everything else and OMG so good. It does get dark too.

Yup, I'm excited to try some tobacco flavors, JD have you tried the Hangsen? Glasseye, thanks for the tips. What's that Island Tobacco taste like? I've got images of Pina Colada in my head now. Don't all islands have coconuts? Saint, the coffee extract was just a breeze thanks to JimiD's method, but I've a feeling the pipe/cigar one will be a lot tougher.

Not at all. I use the fast method for extraction and it has worked perfectly every time:
I use a small baby food jar and fill about 3/4 full of tobacco. Add 30ml of PG or VG and the tobacco should be soaked with a little extra liquid on top. 25 seconds in the microwave (careful not to boil), stir gently, cap and let sit overnight. The extract can be filtered out the next day but I repeat the heat cycle a few times over a few days, stirring carefully so as not to break up too much of the vegetable matter (easier filtering, less fine particulate).
Once ready, I filter through a mesh screen (reusable k-cup) and then through a coffee filter. Finally, I stuff some cotton into a syringe, pour the extract in and plunge through the cotton into a bottle. Result is a nice, clean extract with tons of flavor.
My only advice is to choose your tobacco wisely. If you have a good tobacco shop nearby, ask lots of questions and most likely they will get you pointed in the right direction.
Finally- have fun with it!

TFA's RY4 Double is excellent. I've made several different recipes using it. Here are a couple of my favorites:

10% TFA RY4 Double
1 drop per 2mL TFA Brown Sugar Xtra
1 drop per 5 mL EM
1 drop per 10mL TFA Acetyl Pyrazine

This is my adaptation of user GRM's RY4 recipe...best used with an all or majority VG base:
15% TFA RY4 Double
3% TFA Caramel Candy
3% TFA Pie Crust
1 drop per 5mL EM
1 drop per 10mL TFA Acetyl Pyrazine
1 drop per 5mL Sucralose (10% in PG/VG)

The second one is thick and rich and sweet and guaranteed to crust up your coils by the end of the day, but it's worth it!

Just ordered the Ry1, Ry4, and Tab. Should be here this week some time.

Oh, thanks a bunch Facemeat! RY4 is my all time favorite.

This is a new thing since my last trip on the merry go round: acetyl pyrazine. What in the world is that?

Acetyl Pyrazine (AP) is a flavoring that adds a nutty and toast-like flavor. It's one of those ingredients that you can't live without after you've tried it. Use it sparingly. For me, anything over 1 drop per 5 mL makes a liquid taste like Fritos.

Yum, Fritos!! :p Well, I did notice that for sale at Wizard Labs, I need some Koolada and more pg/vg as well. Next payday I'm rounding out my supplies. Wonder if Wizard Labs sell any of the Hangsen flavorings? I did notice some tobacco absolute, not sure I'm going there or not.

JD I can't wait to hear your thoughts on those flavors! Saint, I'm bookmarking this page so I can try your extraction, thanks!

You guys are all awesome as always!

That sounds pretty tasty! Sadly I left the Brown sugar off of my first few orders, figuring I had enough sweeteners for now. What a shame, looks like I'm going to have to place another order. I'm sure my wife will understand

Since I received my first order of flavors I've been vaping a simple RY4D:
9% RY4 Double
.5% AP
(I believe I found this recipe in a post by Cyrus Vap)

Yesterday I dripped it in to my RBA on top of a 10% Capella's Chocolate Fudge Brownie mix. The chocolate was a little over the top, but the flavors really worked well together after a couple of hits. I'll probably spend the rest of my life trying to recreate that one... (FWIW, it was pretty rich, but surprisingly not overly sweet.)

The Hangsen RY1 is excellent and I just ordered some Hangsen Indian.
