One thing that is often overlooked is the fact that the recidivism rate for smokers who quit is relatively high. By trying to impose such draconian rules, the FDA is not only discouraging the switch from smoking to vaping, but is also risking the lives of every smoker who does successfully quit but winds up falling off the wagon for any reason.

because now that the FDA has decided to be my nanny and try to keep me from buying
drip tips, RBA's, RDA's, mods and other personal vaporizers even though not one of them is necessarily tobacco related or made from tobacco, and now that all those poor Brick and mortar stores won't be able to show me how to roll a coil or explain anything I need something simple that I won't have to argue with like those silly FDA mandated child proof caps.
I wish the FDA would be reasonable and not try to make laws that apply EXPO FACTO
and declare that products made after 2007 are illegal to sell until millions of dollars are spent to
submit FDA applications that will take the FDA years to get around to.

FDAs dooming regs...... I agree with the stuff for minors, and package labeling, but other than that this is a monumental over reach of what our government is supposed to even have the power to do. I am so angry that this is going to prevent future people from being able to find decent vape gear to be able to switch from smoking to vaping and I think many millions of lives will be lost that could have been saved, all because of people who are too greedy to care if others live or die. As Uncle said, if I said what I'd like to say about it, I'd get kicked off of ECF and wouldn't be able to win my cuboid!

The new rules are far to over reaching, meant to kill vaping, and keep the established money train rolling, while keeping people sick & dying from smoking related illnesses, because there is money in that too.

The FDA rules are grossly over the top, particularly the cutoff dates. About age verification, no sale in vending machines accessible to minors I have no complaint about, but stifling technology innovation in a relatively young industry with such positive potential to help smokers is terrible.

FDA? Oh, I could go on and on... This is a pure and simple money grab reached - or, more accurately, overreached - through outright corruption. Sensible regulation is no problem and was, in fact, implemented by most vapers without government intervention. Vapers have already chosen a healthier path, and we did so to quit smoking. We do not want nasties in our e-liquids, and we don't want non-smokers to start. Keeping these life saving devices off the market makes it easier to keep the masses hooked on stinkies... hooked into the big tobacco/big pharma/cancer treatment medical machine...

1. I think that the FDA's regulations are a thinly veiled subsidized attempt by big tobacco/ big pharma to put a chokehold on a burgeoning industry that has actually had an impact on their profits - ludicrous attempt at over-regulation

I don't think there would be anybody left on ECF if we all said what we would really like to say LOL. With that being said The FDA has definitely far overreaching. The Vape Industry was pretty much already Self-regulated as far as selling to minors and such goes, But of course no credit was given to the Industry for it, just Vilified as marketing to children. What BS. There is no mistake with their deeming regs that their intention is to wipe out the Vaping Industry and hand everything back over to the Tobacco and Pharmaceutical companies to increase their pocket linings once again. The FDA already 'Supposedly" regulates actual Tobacco products and look at all the Toxic Deadly Chemicals they have allowed to be added to Tobacco over the years. We DO NOT want that to happen to OUR Vape Industry. Sorry for the Mini-Book

I know a few that have this and it is very comfortable in hand, not awkward feeling. I Like the White/Red for Football Season coming up. Roll Tide I did notice on site however when looking, that when I hovered my mouse over the apv/mod section and it showed drop down, this was listed under the Smok ones but when I clicked on it, it came up nothing found. When I went to brand and clicked Smok it showed up. That may cause a no sale because people will think it is not available.

Tell you how I feel about new regs. Wow, what a bunch of money grabbing politician's lining their pocket with big pharmaceutical and tobacco companies, this is the worst thing that could happen to an industry that is helping people quit smoking. I've heard that this is the lowest number of smokers that we've ever had in the US. There is an option for smokers to stop smoking and these government agencies have stepped in to regulating it do they can get their share of the pie. What a shame.
