Giving your ProVari a bath....

Hello folks. My two-year-old Provari had become a real headache. The firing button would work sometimes, sometimes not, and sometimes would work when pushed and again when released. Anyway, after reading up on it, I put the device and end cap, sans battery and tank, into a gallon plastic bag then added enough 91% isopropyl alcohol to drown it. After twenty minutes just sitting and soaking, I gave the bag and contents a good but gentle agitation for a few minutes then removed the device and cap and dried as much liquid as I could with paper towels. Then, after fifteen minutes of warming and drying the innards with the wife's hair drier, I put it all back together. It not only works like new but the same juice I was using seems to taste better.
I hope this helps someone somewhere.:)
