I agree with the DIY statement, I suck at it!!!! But, I don't mix with unflavored juice because I don't like the flavor muted.

That's interesting. I have experienced no muting of flavor at all. Part of that could be I start out with 100% PG and the other that it is menthol. I was vaping 16mg prior to receiving my REO and about 2 weeks after I went all the way down to 3mg... Next stop will be 0mg... Should be in the next month.

Ah, possibly, I do as close to 100% VG as possible, PG makes it difficult for me to breathe. Congrats on being almost nic free!!! :toast:

I went from 24mg to 12 to 6 then back to up to 10 in nearly 100% VG. I feel no desire to change from 10. :)

I'm with you there. All my kids are working hard towards 0nic but I could care less. I'm at 18 in my tanks and 9 in most drippers and am perfectly happy. It is not my intention to lower nic but then again it was not my intention to quit smoking but I did. I guess I'll ride the tide.

So, as usual I'm a little late to the party... I feel the need to jump in tho...

First, I must take a moment to tell everyone that I was frightened by the price of the Reo. I'm an avid woodworker and decided that I would build my own bottom fed wooden box mod . during the process, I had a question about how the Reo worked...so naturally I called Rob and talked with him about it. I was upfront and honest and told him that it was my intention to build my own mod for my own use. The guy took the time over the phone and answered all of my questions about his device, that I was copying to avoid having to spend the money. WHAT? Did that really just happen? Yes, it really did and it was Rob's honesty and demeanor that actually caused me to eventually purchase my first Reo. I now have 5.

So, yes I purchased Reo number 1 and shortly thereafter when the wife had a great night at a casino, I purchased Reo #2. About 2 weeks after that I was talking to a guy at a vape meet who needed juice and we worked out a trade. I made him 300 ml of his favorite nectar and in exchange, I received Reo #3. At that very same vape meet was a fellow who wanted a true pipe mod. He had a 14500 Reo mini but refused to sell it....he would only trade it. Since I used to smoke pipes a 100 years ago, I offered the promise to convert a nice curved Italian briar for him. That same day I came home with Reo #4. It was now about 3 weeks after purchasing Reo #1. Reo 5 came a month or two later... It was listed for sale on the vape page of our fb group for $50. I bought it sight unseen as it needed loving home. For $50 I could not go wrong. It was in pretty rough shape and had to be torn down and completely reworked. Someone had installed the firing pin upside down, stripped out the screw that holds the delrin in place and melted the button. It was badly abused.... It gave me an opportunity to tear into a grand and have one to play with. I have since learned that it was one of the earliest Reo grands made, and I will never get rid of it for that reason. It has seen so much use that the anodizing on the edges has worn off to reveal raw aluminum, but it keeps on performing like new, now that it has a loving home.

The point of this is that you don't have to spend a ton of money to get a Reo if you are creative. I also have a ton of other devices in my vape case. I have 2 provaris, a 7-22, an ipv2, a. Hana clone, a pipe mod, my homemade box, and about half a dozen mor so tube mods. I don't see any point in selling any of these devices...number one, they aren't worth that much and I wont get much for them. For me, they are like tattoos. Good or bad, each one represents a point in my vaping life.

Here is the how I explain it.... My Reps are my daily drivers and I carry 2 wherever i go. The rest of that stuff in my case are merely toys. And they don't get played with...hardly ever.

I'm satisfied by my Reos, and now that I have found the right Atty for me... I will likely never try another. I can only hope that you find something that will satisfy you as much as my Reos satisfy me.

Truly...good luck with that!

What an awesome story! I just got Reo #2 from my ad and I'm going to wait and see if I even like them before I get any more but your point is proven! If you look hard enough you can find used ones at more affordable prices.

That was a great post and this part:

explains to my satisfaction why I also hang on to all these provaris, tubes, mechs, dnaboxes and countless rba, rta, etc. that I never use.

Too lazy to list and sell? Too greedy not to? Nope, you said it so perfectly... like tattoos. Points along my vaping life. That's why I keep them around even though all I use is my Reo/Cyclone. I think perhaps for me, the reo is the be all/end all.
