So. Cal
Glad I found this place, lots of good info.

i have been reading alot on this forum and Its sure swayed some of my decision making but has made me question what to do now.

I am a smoker and am looking to an E-cig to help me quit.

I have been eye'ing the Blu products but am finding they are not quite the best especially in the customer service realm.

What I am looking for is a good E-cig that I can get longetivty from, swap out pre-fillled carts and enjoy. Im not much interested in the whole 'fill your own' method.

In a nutshell, could anyone point me in a good direction to spend my dollars wisely. I want an automatic unit, no pushbutton, long life. I currently smoke menthols now and would likely continue in that direction...maybe trying other pre-filled carts like cherry or vanilla.

I notice the 510 to be a popular unit; one point to make, I do like the shorter units instead of a longer 100 cig style.

Thanks for any help!

:p

Just as long as you understand shorter cigs = shorter battery life. Rule of thumb is about 1 hour per 100 mah. So the mini's you'll get 2-3 hours of continous vaping.

Volt and Vapor 4 Life are pretty popular. Both have prefilled cartomizers, and eventually you can get juice and fill them yourself. You save money that way, and it generally tastes better. They are a KR808. I happen to prefer a 510 over a KR808 but that's just personal preference on my part.

If you want prefilled cartos then go with the #1 most popular and supported 2-piece, KR808D-1

I recommend manual batteries because they are sealed better and most people add juice to the cartos to get 4-7 days use out of each instead of one day or less. Manuals are much harder to damage or kill with juice leaks. make it easier to get a good hit, won't turn on accidentally from wind or vibration

I also recommend the standard size aka 78mm batteries which make a 120mm ecig with the carto. They have longer battery life. The shorter batteries are cute but short life.

Vapor4Life and the original manufacturer KR808D-1 - good sized button on the manuals, and the current manuals seem to have the threaded end hole plugged up to prevent juice from getting in, 280mah for the standard size.

SmokelessImage Volt. Bloogplanet Maxxfusion, Halocigs G6 - the new rubberized style, manuals have a tiny button and a totally sealed threaded end. They claim 320mah for the 78mm aka standard size batetry.

Take look at those. No cig-pack-look for the PCC though.

If you were willing to mostly fill your own cartos, you could also look at Joye 510 manual (sealed threaded end) and the cig-pack PCC at NoSmokeVA.com, and use standard resistance Boge 510 cartomizers (blanks) on that. Slim ecigs cannot use the hotter LR (low resistance) cartos/attys. There might be some prefilled cartos for 510 (what they call Magma) at Volcanoecigs.com but the selection elsewhere is pretty poor from prefileld - some with Chinese juice at VaporKings.com and a small badly stocked selection at LiquidXpress. Most use blank cartos. Short battery life of 180mah. There is a much longer Joye 510 mega xl manual battery but the only PCC for those is a non-roomy plain metal one shaped like a pack of 120-slims.
