Honestly I was a bit mad that the pre-filled carts from vapor4life didn't preform well at all! On the other hand, the carts I filled myself are amazing and everything I expected from an e-cig!!!! I am really ready to quit and I think I've found the device to help me! Happy vaping everyone.

Welcome! It is nice to see another Minnesotan! I just got my first order on Tuesday, and it was also from V4L. I only ordered the pre-filled carts for that one, but I tried a small bottle of liquid for my 2nd order yet to arrive.

I didn't have any issues with the carts, but the extra shorty battery I ordered was defective, so they are sending me a new one.

I'm curious to know in what way the carts didn't preform, and how the ones you filled yourself are different. I am still adjusting to the taste (everything tastes like PG, except Wow Peppermint). I haven't totally given up on the cigs, yet, but I have smoked very few since Tuesday, and they taste worse every time I smoke one. Vaping is quickly becoming my new preferred habit!

There's a whole bunch of stuff that can go wrong with pre-filled cartos that don't really have anything to do with the quality of the carto itself.

They might be over-filled, or under-filled, or have sat around too long and gotten stale, or have juice from a bad batch that doesn't vape well, or just simply not be to your tastes.

I personally thought mine were ok. The flavor was nothing to scream about, but it was ok and it lasted a long time. I got lucky-ish.

Never judge an e-cig by its pre-filled cartos.

Hi Kizzle and welcome to ecf.

Just remember that e-cigarettes is not like old fashioned cessation methods where cold turkey is the ONLY way to succeed...in fact most of us here did it gradually.

There IS a learning curve with e-cigs, and sometimes it takes a while to find your special combination or formula. So please don't place any unreasonable expectations on yourself and create undue stress. Remove the burden of the "Q" word and all its baggage from your mind, and just have fun and enjoy the journey. If you smoke one, don't sweat it, just focus good thoughts on the ones that you didn't smoke.

so forget the "Q" word, keep on vaping, and above all, enjoy the ride!

Pre-filled cartos are hit and miss IMO. I'd say 75% of the ones I've gotten prefilled were a let down when I started out. Nothing compares to filling them yourself. Plus I like being able to look at the filler every now and then to determine if its time to rip it out and vape without it or toss the carto.

Welcome!

I'm not sure whether you're referring to cartridges (carts) or cartomizers (cartos). Either way, prefilled carts or cartos may need to be topped off with juice before you use them if they've been sitting around for a while. Also, prefilled carts and cartos can be refilled; they're not really any different from empty carts and cartos, they just come with some juice in them.

Good Luck!
