Have you tried googling wound drs- just to see if there is another,possibly not affiliated with the huge hospital?
I'm sure they won't tell you about non affiliated drs...

Good vibes your way GMO.... is it a wound Dr or perhaps a diabetic care specialist that you need? I think there is a huge facility in Minneapolis that deals with diabetis and if nothing else, call there and see if they know of anyone in your area... *hugs* The contest can wait or just not happen, it is just nice to be here and enjoy the Tree Family.

If you have the DOCs full name, you (or someone) could press the 'comm' button on the phone at the nurses station and page him to your room. its sneaky, but may get ya face to face faster

I'll be headed out to the nurses special care facility tomorrow for wound healing and physical therapy (not rehab though)
I also have an apt for a second opinion at another HUGE hospital on Monday. I'm pleased with myself for getting EXACTLY what I wanted!!
Enough about me an my medical carp for now.
I expect to start a new Contest Thread on Saturday. Thanks to UNCLE for minding the house while I've been involved elsewhere. HOPEFULLY, he will continue to be the HMHumperIC!!

So glad to hear your doing well GMO. I have been working on my medical retirement, and it looks like under two months, and still working on landing a job in the area we want to go.
I have been sick as a dog these last few days, spent a little time in the hospital from it even >.<.
