The Wawona tree was a Coast Redwood that was located in Mariposa Grove, Yosemite National Park in the USA and had been made into a tunnel. The tree was cut through in 1881, and since then, it became a popular tourist attraction. The Wawona tree fell in 1969 due to a large build-up of snow on the top. The redwood is estimated to have been 2,300 years old.

WOW ! ! !

Welcome . . .
Glad to see Ya' decided to join the "Tree-Peeps" . . . AND - Talk about pulling up a chair and joining the group discussion and offering up some really good information . . . NICE - "My" Freind . . .

1600 smokes avoided today! That's pretty good for a 30+ year smoker. Thanks to y'all, {OTHER e-liquids VENDORS}, SanJosse, and everyone else who has made not smoking both enjoyable and fun!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS ! ! !

However, I hope "You" understand why I am mentioning it right now . . . Just as an FYI and for future reference - posting about other "E-Liquid" vendors (or where to get products he sells) without "GMO's" Permission in his thread - NOT Nice . . . :nah: Just Sayin' . . .

5.
It's all I use. I have had the same set for over two decades. Needless to say, they are well seasoned. And for stovetop stuff, I have a Le Crueset enameled cast iron dutch oven. It is truly heavenly!

2: Cast iron pots and skillets are great to cook with and good for you, it adds iron to your diet.

SO DITTO ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

YEP - It's true . . . And - Although I use to have a huge set of Iron Cookware (12 PIECES) that was over 100 years old and handed down to "Me" (Really BAD ! ! ! They were left behind by mistake in one of the many moves), at least I was able to kinda of replace them . . . So - I now have 8 Cast Iron Pieces . . . 2 - Skillets, 1 - Broiler Pan, 1 Gridle, and 1 - Dutch Oven and even 2 - Le Crueset enameled cast iron dutch oven & 1 - le creuset terrine . . . like "spawnsharkes" for the past 20 years . . .

Do you ever just have one of those days (or a week) when you wish that you could just hit the reset button? I'm trying to just laugh about the fact that everything seems to happen at once. . .

Since it's pretty much all I've talked about for a couple of days, it's no secret that I've been sick. I'm happy to say that just in the last couple of hours, my cough has cleared considerably. I suspect that the antibiotics are working. . . thank goodness. Maybe I can get just one decent night's sleep, and I can start functioning normally. Going to class was a big mistake. I was trying to NOT look like a flake, but I was so out of it that I don't think I did myself any favors in the credibility department. I guess I will just have to start being "SUPER PROFESSOR" in the next class!

So, after cutting class short, I drove home only to discover that during the course of being sick, I forgot to pay my water bill. I haven't had a utility shut-off since I was in college, and it's kind of embarrassing to admit that it happened. Fortunately, after spending nearly an hour on hold, I paid my bill and I should have water tomorrow.

Amazingly, I'm really rolling with things pretty well. . . . but seriously, I think this might be me at the moment. . .

5: Dang I want to eat at your house Uncle, all that cast iron must be some good eating there.

"My" Friend - You are more then welcome to come on over any time - the only problem is I DO NOT Cook as much anymore . . .

Use to have a lot of Dinner parties and such, just not any longer since most of "My" Friends that are still alive are up North . . . The few Friends I have around here, well we just go out more often, especially since I do not want them to have to deal with the BS I have to go through and most of the other people where I live . . . Just Sayin' . . .

No need to be embarrassed, sometimes things are just forgotten. I have done the same thing also with My water bill, simply forgot to pay it, which is very odd. I'm the kinda guy Who likes to pay the bills as soon as they come in. Don't know what happened here, I guess since I let it slide the first day or two it just slipped My mind because it wasn't the middle of the month, or when ever it was that it was due.

And here is the kicker at the time I was a Water Plant Operator! Although not for the Utility that was supplying water to the house I lived in. The good part of it is, the house used to have well water, but due to city ordinances and what not, had to hook up to city water & sewer. The well & pump was still functioning and used for irrigation, so with a little snip snip to a garden house and getting two female ends on it I was able to hook the well up to an outside spigot and have water until the next day when I could pay the bill and have them come back out and unlock the meter.

I was tempting just to go out there and do it myself and then relock it before they came out, I had the tools. But that would have been illegal. And would prevent Me from having water hooked back up in My name if I was caught.

#4 I used to love cooking with cast iron. I can't now cuz I'm not supposed to have any iron right now. Stupid doctors. But yes, they are the ultimate in cookware imo.

Ah, thanks. Like I said, I'm really coping pretty well--even laughed at myself quite a bit today over all of this. But, damn, it just seems like all the crap piled up at once! (can't wait to see how many of those "tame" words get censored by ECF).

Well a special trip would require a special meal, so I feel safe ;)

Doc get to feeling better.

Thanks, tiggerrts! The last few hours things have really started to improve. I'm tired, but at least I don't feel like my ribs are breaking when I cough. . . THAT is a huge improvement!

Thanks, MoonLit. I have to tell you that you made me laugh. I seriously considered doing exactly what you said this afternoon. Unfortunately, they use hard plastic bands through the meter to indicate that they disconnected it. It's easy to remove (a pair of scissors would do the trick), but impossible to replace. I'm sure that there is some exorbitant fine associated with tampering with it. But, yeah, I thought about it. . .
