I envy you guys -- have to admit I haven't put the last of the "stinkies" down....ugh I know so ashamed. But I do vape way more than smoke so hopefully soon I can make the switch completely.

4: There is no shame in it, each person has a different time and method to finally end the stinkies. Some can do it the first day, some it takes a year or more, for me it was about two months and that was hugely in part due to the nic amount and device I used. You keep on trucking on the vaping adventure proudly and one day you will be there.

MonicaRae:

I had some starts and stops the first couple of months vaping...just couldn't give up the cigs while driving or when I was nervous/anxious. It also didn't help that I was futsing around with leaky/gurgling cheap tanks. That dissipated and before I knew it I had a few weeks without any cigs - which has turned into about 4 months. But I can totally relate to what you are saying, Monica, because I had those same feelings when I was starting out/adjusting to vaping. Now, looking back, I realize that it was just part of my journey and there was really nothing to feel guilty/ashamed about.

Look at the cup half-full side of it and be happy that each vape taken is an improvement over the alternative. You've made a great improvement to you life already and it will most likely get easier and easier!! :)

It was one year ago today that I last put fire to tobacco and inhaled the ensuing nastiness.
Huzzah! I could probably say the same thing, but I didn't mark my calendar. I had my last intentional smoke December 31, 2012, but my dinky 510 battery died after 2 or 3 weeks and I bought one pack while waiting for an Ego kit to arrive in the mail. Since I can't remember the exact date I'm waiting until February 1st to celebrate. Milestones like this are nice aren't they? :)

Well done MoonLit! I am pushing 16 months myself. Feels good, don't it!

Little bummed. Canceled softball today on account of the snow and cold. But, it is for the best. The safety of the kids is always priority number 1.
(anti)Social media has been making fun of Texas closing schools and businesses whenever there's a hint of ice on the roads. Folks that live up north and deal with much harsher conditions every winter think we're wussies. ~250 separate auto accidents around Austin in 12 hours is a clear sign it's dangerous to drive when the roads have ice, we don't have the infrastructure to clear the roads down here.

Well Thanks So Much, But I'm a guy.
I haven't incorrectly guessed the gender of anyone on ECF yet (AFAIK). It does happen pretty often, I see these statements all the time. A hot babe or cat/kitten for an avatar does not always mean the person is female, sometimes it takes reading quite a few posts before I can make any conclusions. i imagine it's embarrassing for both parties involved.

I never used a hookah, I have absolutely no idea what it's all about, is it tobacco smoked in them?

I'm not embarrassed or offended. It is hard to figure out the gender sometimes and have made mistakes in assuming myself, even taking a peek at profiles doesn't help most times.
But usually in time it makes itself apparent.

2- Well just tried to release the Northern Mocking bird that was in my garage last night, she is doing better, but she was not able to fly away when I took her out side. I am having a bad back day, but managed to get low enough for her to hop back on my hand and give it another try. Another fail and return to me to be brought back inside.
Called the wildlife recovery center and left a message, might have to go to the pet store and get some flight less fruit flies for her and some berry's as well...

I used to think you, Schnarph, were female when you first came on the scene. But back then you were using delicate flowers for your avatar, so it wasn't 100% my fault! ;)

Now c'mover here and gimme a smooch you sexy beast!
