#5 So, you're saying you like the nemesis better than Provari? Did your Provari break? Thanks, I've been doing some researh.

No it did not break, my son is using it as his MPV broke. I can't say I like the nemesis better, its just different. The vape I get from the two of them is very similar, except the nemmy vape drops of rapidly once the battery gets a little low. With the nemmy I build a lot lower ohm coils, the Provari won't fire at low ohms. So I like them both!

Thanks! What is the lowest ohms the Provari will fire at? I'm gonna try to start rebuilding some coils soon. Do you think the Provari is worth the money? Thanks

#5 I really do like my Provari but I do think my Vamo V5 ( Yes yes call me crazy ) seems to vape better when I do a RDA. The P does not seem to fire well if my coil is 1.8 and I like them at 1.8. Of course I still have a lot of learning to do. Maybe if I make it higher the Provari would do beter. But for my tanks..............Provari all the way.

Night all stay warm and healthy

#1 If you tend to break mods, don't use low (sub)ohm coils, and can afford a Provari, go for it. I won my Provari :) and I think it's pretty nice for tanks with normal range coils, but I don't think I would buy one at full price. It's better than my Vamo (still running great at 7+ months), but not worth 3 to 4 times the price, IMO. If I had burned through 3 or 4 Vamos already I would likely think differently.

Warning! Technical jargon and multi-quote madness ahead! Skip if not interested!;)

#4 I've been thinking about getting a Provari.:vapor:
Thinking is good. Keep doing that. :)

The problem is that the price is too damn high :(
One of very few problems, but that is correct.

I must first make this disclosure..........I'm not a fanboy!

You'll lovea Provari, the only PV that lasted me more than 3 or 4 months before I broke it, mine is @ 1yr old. I must say I use my nemesis clone more now thou.
"Response" at the bottom...

Apples and oranges. Grapes and watermelon. Cantaloupe. Fruit salad? :p

See the beginning and the end :)

You're crazy! :p (JK) Odd that your Provari doesn't like a 1.8 ohm coil. At the same voltage on a Provari and Vamo, the Provari usually does better. The settings on almost all Chinese APV's are before load (resistance), the Provari setting is accurate after load. Of course, YMMV with almost everything vape related.

I can get a 1.1 ohm coil to fire on the Provari, but it's limited to something like 3.5 amps or 16 watts (whichever is lower). 1.1 ohm at 3.5 amps = 3.8 volts (13.5 watts). That's the lowest I can get my Provari V2.5 to go, so I rarely run RDA's on it, just clearos or RTA's (like the Taifun or SQuape). With low ohm coils you might be happier with an unregulated mechanical mod, although the voltage can drop from 4.2v down to 3.8 rather quickly depending on battery quality. I might suggest a Kick 2 in this case, it goes to 15 watts (1.1 ohm coil @ 15 watts = 4.06 volts), and can "safely" (low battery & short circuit cutoff) handle coils down to 0.5 ohms. This voltage/wattage would stay the same until the battery is down to ~3.4 volts (2.7v under load). The downside to a Kick 2 is you need good 18650 batteries in the higher amp range (10+ amps continuous), no 18500's can pull it off for more than a few puffs. Sure, it can run 0.5 ohm coil, but limited to 15 watts that's 2.7 volts, like a dead battery. Still, it's pretty sweet for a single coil RDA (if your mechanical mod can hold an 18650 with a Kick). Of course, the Kicks don't tell you anything like battery charge or atty resistance, it kind of depends what you're looking for and what you want to spend. If you don't usually go over 10 watts or under 1.3 ohms, a first version Kick would work just fine, as well as some of the clones.
