Someone tell "Me" why people think "You" are ready for deep conversation first thing in the morning before "You" have even woken-up or had "Your" first cup of coffee . . .

Working an overtime shift but it's SO slow. I don't know what to do with myself - only so much reading one can take.

Uncle -- Sounds like my mom - when my phone rings at 6am I get this sense of dread...she always likes to bring up something HUGE at that time. Usually something she thinks I'm not doing "right." I've been told over and over to not answer the phone but **ugh** it's my mother I have no choice. Or so I feel anyway.

Once again, Uncle, it sounds like we share this in common. It seems like my entire family--biological and my family of choice--is comprised of "Morning People." I am definitely (or "defiantly"!) NOT in this category. My SO, who lives in Minnesota (where it is two hours earlier than San Juan) calls me every morning right before he begins work at 7:00 a.m. At least a couple of days each week I'm still too out of it to carry on a conversation with him.

The streak of vapemail continues today. . . I'm expecting my back-up MVP2. I'm also expecting a shipment of K-Cups from Keurig. Okay, that's not vapemail, but I've been using the reusable filter baskets for several months and I'm looking forward to having K-Cups again. One big difference between PR and the rest of the US is that you can't buy K-Cups anywhere on the island. Fortunately, Keurig has reasonable prices and free shipping (FedEx even!).

Ahh, expected vapemail puts such a nice feeling on the day...doesn't it?

I make most of my coffee from my Keurig...mostly out of convenience and the fact that I can't really handle more than one cup anymore. I bought a bunch of those reusable filter baskets with high hopes, but I can't seem to get a strong enough cup with them. With real K-cups, I need to make a smaller cup of coffee to get the desired strength, even when I am using bold coffee.
