3- JPF PM inbound.
Have to remember too, I am working on dealing with my disabilities, it is rough for me being a type A personalty to not be able to jump from planes, run a block, none the less a marathon as I have done a couple times. Hell sometimes the wife has to help me just to get my underwear, pants, shoes and socks on.
I am thankful that I do have such a wonderful family, and I know that when I am on my death bed I will not sit there wishing I had done this or that, I will have memories and know that I have done more then most people dream of doing.
I feel that intellectually I will get more time to focus on my research projects, and might be able to make a real difference in this world now that I am not able to spend hours outdoors exploring it, I have more time to explore other projects in the computer sciences, physics, and biology.

@Sky, just read your post about using Autobots to scan FB contests!! I am def following you, it just got real.
Running on python right now for that, my house is like the mad scientists house. I have quite a few machines running, some for bitcoin mining, some for contests, others for projects and hacking experiments.
I have 2 full networks running, with several sub-nets per home network and will pit one on the other with attack vectors and the sort.

mining the coin too!? im not surprised. any success??

few years ago i wish i had jumped on it, coulda dedicated an entire room to mining hardware. now, the idea doesnt seem cost effective and is left up to chance as there are some hardcore mining centers with 1,000,000 times larger operation than i could ever fathom to afford...

i have considered BC daytrading. they have an app that makes it really easy. my friend was showing, however, like many risky investments, can only put up what you dont mind losing.....

What jp said "Sky pm me your FB info. I would like to follow a nerd, scientist, mensa, combat vet!" Nerds rock! Besides I am stalking, ummm errr following several folks here now :) add me pretty please.

Come on ladies, lets get with it.

j/k I know there are tons of reasons people don't want to mess with FB. I go by Azelyah Frost on FB if you do want to add though. About the only thing I put in there not vape related is some gaming stuff from time to time

LD you know I will post a pic just as soon as she gets here ( it's purple of course )

So my kinda guy! lol I think I have 5 various spec'd rigs now. Some running, some having parts being swapped around. Linux play box, gaming rigs, etc etc. My computer room is an obstacle course. Newegg is my best friend ha ha

I've only used my FB page for playing poker with my son and a few vape things. I added a few of the folks from this thread and the old thread we used to call home, and my page blew up. I had no idea so much was going on! You won't see anything personal from me thou.
Sky that video with "the yellow tomato" had me rolling!

4- I have some BC, started mining it quite a while ago when you could make coin just with a CPU. I am also in a mining pool so we split what we make that way. Also tinkering with some other crypto currency's for fun.
debinnv PM incoming.
Ya I try to have some funny stuff mixed in with politics, and the day to day musings that us dysfunctional vets deal with on a day to day basis.

5- LD, no you need dedicated hardware to do anything, and now the complexity curve almost has me out of mining BC using my machines, I am hedging a few other crypto currency's to see if any shows the results of BC, I just wish I would have got more than a couple hundred bucks when it was a few cents each...
Still sitting on a nice amount, slow transactions to sock into my IRA.

Also for those that want to follow me on FB it is https://www.facebook.com/james.pitman.357 -> fair warnings, I have very strong political views that very highly favors individual freedoms V/S all else, and some things are not work or kid friendly.
That being said I am still in the army and although I do not list the Army on my FB page, that is for UCMJ issues when you link the two together. Also might have some stronger views after I am out of the Army, will do lots more posting on what will then be my legal and preferred medicine over the current blend of 16 that I take, it will rid me of several toxins, I will hope to blog my auqaphonics experimenter, construction, and maintenance.
Also have several solar and thermal dynamics projects that have done well in computer sims, and a couple have gone into a small scale with some success, but it will take a lot of work and time that I do not have to make this all come together.

Getting a late start. I've had no electricity most of the day because the incompetent Puerto Rico Electric/Power Authority (PREPA) mistakenly shut it off this morning. Evidently, my neighbor didn't pay her bill and they disconnected me inadvertently. After last week's water disconnection (which was, I admit, my fault), I'm started to resent the utility companies!

I'm happy to report that it's back on now. . .
