The funny thing is that I'm actually a very vocal proponent of the USPS for this very reason. As far as "live" updates go, I don't really care if they are up to the minute--but 48 hours without an update on an Express package is unacceptable. The last scan, before it finally arrived today, was on Monday night ("Depart St. Paul"). When I asked what that meant, I was told that it literally means that it left the St. Paul facility--so I guess it was on a plane circling for 48 hours? Obviously that is absurd. Express service, at the very least, should be handled with extreme care and there should never be any doubt where a package is at any given time (certainly that isn't unreasonable given the cost of the service).
Yeah, I've been a strong defender of USPS, but that gets harder to do when the service is consistently bad (remember, this was the third express package in four weeks that arrived late).
Good point, Scharph. I don't know why I didn't even think about that. My name is "Tony Slagle vape"--just in case you were unsure.
2- One things to remember about the USPS, it is the one part of the government that can not do anything without congress approving it, but they receive no taxes. They would love to be able to do live shipping updates anywhere, but congress will not approve the equipment or the 1-2 cent increase in prices that would happen to cover the gear.

Re: FaceBook: Some of you may have "friend"ed me but I don't recognize your FB name. Apologies if I seem aloof. If I tag you too much, please say so. I've been trying to help folks find stuff I think they might be interested in, but I could easily be wrong. I have to mention that here since only half the names are the same between FB and ECF.
As someone else mentioned, if you use FB please give our wonderful host a like on his vape Tree page.![]()
