Thanks Tiggerrts...I was checking out why they began DST and it is so out dated...I don't even know why they still do it...
Daylight saving time - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The modern idea of daylight saving was first proposed in 1895 by George Vernon Hudson[2] and it was first implemented by Germany and Austria-Hungary starting on 30 April 1916. Many countries have used it at various times since then, most consistently since the energy crises of the 1970s.

The practice has been both praised and criticized.[1] Adding daylight to evenings benefits retailing, sports, and other activities that exploit sunlight after working hours,[3] but can cause problems for evening entertainment and other occupations tied to the sun (such as farming) or to darkness (such as firework shows).[4][5] Although an early goal of DST was to reduce evening use of incandescent lighting (formerly a primary use of electricity[6]), modern heating and cooling usage patterns differ greatly, and research about how DST currently affects energy use is limited or contradictory.[7]

so.....why do it?

Island Of Misfit Toys
#2 Morning, again :) Hubby sent me a pic of the area of where the land is that he wants to buy. This was taken from the highway. Seems to be a pretty area. I would like to see more trees though. But it's really very nice and he said the small town atmosphere is alive and well :)

Said folks are all very friendly. There's a bonus!

Well, Daylight Savings screwed me up, and we don't even "do" Daylight Savings in Puerto Rico (and, it wasn't because I didn't know it was coming).

I woke up this morning and the clock on my phone adjusted for the time change even though it didn't apply. When I checked my settings everything was correct--this was an iOS bug. I didn't realize the problem for a couple of hours. I am glad that they always do the time change on Sunday morning rather than Monday--this could have really screwed me up if I had something going on at work on Monday.
