1. Good morning tree people! I'm not pleased to be awake either. But I think my chances of being discharged today are good! I think they are just waiting on some lab results. They need to hurry up, cuz my Vamo batteries are dying and its too early to have someone bring me my other set LOL

EDITED cuz apparently I can't count to one.....

I need to share this with you. I started using a new Credit Card Processing Company recently and I received this email this morning:

Hi Leonard,

Thanks for signing up with Stripe!

Unfortunately, we will not be able to help out with payments for thevapetree.3dcartstores.com, as the site is in violation of our Terms of Service, section B.5 ("Prohibited Businesses"). Specifically, we are unable to accept payments for e-cigarettes as described here: https://stripe.com/terms#prohibited-businesses

These restrictions come from our banking partners, and so sadly we have no flexibility here. It's frustrating for us to have to turn away businesses, but in this case our hands are tied. Any existing payments will be transferred to you, but we will not be able to accept any further payments on your behalf.

Best of luck with your business going forward, and please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,
Sasha

Hi Sasha,

I too am sorry that we cannot do business together. It's unfortunate that Stripes makes it business decisions based on uninformed "facts". Studies by unbiased scientists have shown that e-cigarettes are at least 100 times less harmful than cigarettes.

I'm almost certain that an individual could buy cigarettes using your company. Maybe someone in your company will take the time to explore the scientific facts and decide to actually help their customers by affording them the opportunity to quit smoking cigarettes.

Best wishes to your company and hoping that they will stop acting out of uninformed ignorance and do some actual good. Maybe, at that time, we could do some business again.

Sincerely,
Leonard

What unmitigated arrogance and ignorance!!

#2 Unfortunately for us, a lot of card processing companies don't want to support our community. I honestly don't understand what the big deal is. They will approve working with companies that sell much worse stuff, but somehow e-cigs are like a plague. What are these banks so afraid of? Is big pharma paying them to deny our vendors? If so, I smell a BIG lawsuit in the works.

GMO, have you tried googling it? There are processors out there. I know Instabill is e-cig friendly, off the top of my head. And I believe Tasker is also a decent one. Just a couple suggestions.

G'mornin Tree Peeps!

Damn, Glass... That really sucks! You'd think they would have vetted you before approval, not while you are open and trying to grab a foothold in this slippery market... Pay-poop was as much as expected, this was not. Sorry brother, low blow...

The banks are looking at e-cigs as a high risk industry. It's possible that all of the old co-op scams are connected to this. Piss-poor customer service by certain companies would add to this rep significantly. Also pending legislation doesn't help our cause. Appearantly charge backs per company per year is a major mitigating factor as well...
So every time some self indulgent idiot isn't happy and calls his CC company to dispute the charges as a punitive measure, it hurts the entire industry and limits our options.

And here's a tree

AND - I really hope that it gets better then it started . . .

Especially since I was rudely awakened to early by some "DAM OLD LADY" continually knockin' on "My" downstairs door (thinking it was the neighbors next door on the first floor) until I answered (From "My" actual apartment front door upstairs) to tell "Me" that the grill next to landing of "My" secondary apartment door belonged to her . . .

Then - When I told her she had the wrong apartment - she had the audacity to complain and also accuse "Me" of having to many Halloween decorations (again not mine - but "My" downstairs Neighbor's) blocking her access to "My' Door . . .

Thanks, Tish!
I'm talking to two companies now but, unfortunately, it takes time.. too much time

There are a handful of CC processors that specialize in categories that are deemed "high risk." A few of them are in the vendor area of ECF and have been reviewed by other vendors. It is supremely annoying that banks make it so difficult for e-liquid companies. It's tremendously disappointing that Amazon Payments and PayPal do not process e-liquid companies. That would make things SO much easier for hundreds of small businesses.
