Alrighty S, how di ya build yo' fogger?
:)
I may take another stab at it tonight

{smile, you're on camera}
Sorry, I've been AFK for many hours. I don't think it was the micro-coils that were problem, but the last and current working build was done the "standard" way: 2 pieces of cotton yarn (or one doubled up), thin (straightened) paperclip between them, 5 wraps of 28 gauge (not too loose or too tight). To get the wires on the posts I removed the screws and stuck a thumbtack in the screw holes, making a longer post to bend the wire around. I went to the inside of the posts turning the wire counterclockwise. Even though it was against the force of the screws when tightening, it still worked. Normally I would recommend against ever doing it that way, but in the Fogger the "correct" way made the wires too long IMO. I pushed the cotton down in the liquid feed slots and cut it just at the outer edge. One time I let some of cotton hang down on the inside of the deck, this caused flooding and I don't recommend it. Slowly prime the wick before installing the chimney, just enough to get it all wet. I did not use the o-ring that goes on the threads between the chimney piece and deck. I screwed down the chimney all the way then backed it off ~1/4 turn before putting the glass tank section on. I noticed that pushing the flat metal cap (with o-rings and fill hole) on the glass tank section before putting them both on the bottom (deck) made for a straighter, more flush fit... YMMV. I took a couple of dry pulls before firing, and let it sit for a couple of minutes after a few real draws.

That was long, apologies. If that doesn't work for you I'll take some pictures of what I've done. I haven't even had it for 2 days so I obviously don't really know the best way to set up the Fogger. If I discover anything noteworthy I'll let you know. Good luck!

I couldn't sleep. I thought of something to add to my last post, all of which is just to help LD with the Fogger...

If taking a pull ("dry" pull or firing) causes a small bubble or two to rise from the bottom of the chimney near the wick holes, then it's probably wicking good enough. 2 long, dry pulls might be enough to flood it a little... don't get carried away. Cotton is a lot easier to deal with in an RDA where it's easy to see and change out, so be careful if you decide to use it in this bottom coil tank or others like it. If you have a syringe and needle it's not that hard to drain the tank and re-wick the coil, but there's only so much time in a day to mess with stuff like that as I'm sure you know.

If it doesn't work out remember you have an Ithaka, cartotanks, and other options. If the Ithaka is your favorite and you want a "beater" version, a Hercules might be just the thing you want (interchangeable parts and costs ~$40-$50). Keep the Fogger in good shape in case you do give up on it, that's what the classies are for. There's nothing wrong with having preferences in vape equipment and selling/trading unwanted items, folks do it all the time (I know I do). Good luck!

Time to attempt sleep again, this time with "all natural" OTC help... 100% legal of course. I think it's working, it took me a very long time to type this. :)

5- Well folks, my relief should be here any time, got my review draft done and sent to my supervisor, tired and feeling a little worn out today, think I still have a little bit of my daughters bug >.< . Call it a hunch but she most likely will be feverish again this morning and not be able to go to school. Dr. said it could be another week when she went on Tuesday..

1--
Woke up at about 4am listening to my parents dogs crying.. My dad in his infinite wisdom put them in the room next to mine so eventually they woke me up.. Once they were up my dog was up so by 430 I decided I wasn't going to sleep anymore..
Now looking up vape stuff when I have no budget is hilarious...
