4- Interesting, I have thought about rba's but TBH I just love my carto tanks and the simplicity of it all.

Once you get consistent with building coils, setting up an RDA is simpler than setting up a carto/tank. Something like the Kayfun 3.1 is only slightly more involved and payoff is tremendous -- outstanding flavor AND 4.5ml of juice capacity.

^ this man speaks the truth.. I still use my ladies carto tanks here and there but when I want serious flavor nothing compares(right now) to my KFL.. 3 months in it's simplified my life.. Even gennys for that matter give me the satisfaction I crave(with the annoyance they have to stand straight).. It's about air flow for me now though more then anything and I find cartos too tight(that's what she said)..... :)

It was exactly one year ago today that I finally defeated cigarettes.

Of all my past quit attempts, this one has been the easiest. Obviously because I am still getting nicotine. But I firmly believe, if I wanted to, I could be done with that in short order as well.

I just don't wanna quit nicotine yet! And now, without all the tar, carbon monoxide and other nasties, I don't have to!

Carry on!

#3 ? Yes, 3. Not 4 or 2, and 5 is right out.
I MISSED the whole conversation. Which version fogger is it.. I been eyeing one as I love my Kayfun lites..
1--
Woke up at about 4am listening to my parents dogs crying.. My dad in his infinite wisdom put them in the room next to mine so eventually they woke me up.. Once they were up my dog was up so by 430 I decided I wasn't going to sleep anymore..
Now looking up vape stuff when I have no budget is hilarious...
I believe all 4 folks in here have the Fogger V2. For under $30, I don't think it can be beat in terms of flavor (if you can still find it at that price). It's not nearly as easy to coil and there's no adjustable liquid flow control, maybe the V3 will be better.

The coffee's all gone and it's time for me to venture into the real world. May your day be better than mine! :)

g'mornz treefam!!

Thank you for the detailed info on the build. I like your method, and i am certain i can follow your instructions. i look forward to getting it working. it is such a handsome device and i want very much to enjoy it :)
it is early, and i am still waking up, not much energy for a full response until the caffeine kicks in (i did NOT forget my coffee this mornin)
My other strategy is going to be to use a juice that i dont love for the first fill. this way if i lose juice like the last few attempts i will be less annoyed by its loss.
many thanks bruv :)

#1? What day is it?

Sorry, I've been AFK for many hours. I don't think it was the micro-coils that were problem, but the last and current working build was done the "standard" way: 2 pieces of cotton yarn (or one doubled up), thin (straightened) paperclip between them, 5 wraps of 28 gauge (not too loose or too tight). To get the wires on the posts I removed the screws and stuck a thumbtack in the screw holes, making a longer post to bend the wire around. I went to the inside of the posts turning the wire counterclockwise. Even though it was against the force of the screws when tightening, it still worked. Normally I would recommend against ever doing it that way, but in the Fogger the "correct" way made the wires too long IMO. I pushed the cotton down in the liquid feed slots and cut it just at the outer edge. One time I let some of cotton hang down on the inside of the deck, this caused flooding and I don't recommend it. Slowly prime the wick before installing the chimney, just enough to get it all wet. I did not use the o-ring that goes on the threads between the chimney piece and deck. I screwed down the chimney all the way then backed it off ~1/4 turn before putting the glass tank section on. I noticed that pushing the flat metal cap (with o-rings and fill hole) on the glass tank section before putting them both on the bottom (deck) made for a straighter, more flush fit... YMMV. I took a couple of dry pulls before firing, and let it sit for a couple of minutes after a few real draws.

That was long, apologies. If that doesn't work for you I'll take some pictures of what I've done. I haven't even had it for 2 days so I obviously don't really know the best way to set up the Fogger. If I discover anything noteworthy I'll let you know. Good luck!

#2?
I couldn't sleep. I thought of something to add to my last post, all of which is just to help LD with the Fogger...

If taking a pull ("dry" pull or firing) causes a small bubble or two to rise from the bottom of the chimney near the wick holes, then it's probably wicking good enough. 2 long, dry pulls might be enough to flood it a little... don't get carried away. Cotton is a lot easier to deal with in an RDA where it's easy to see and change out, so be careful if you decide to use it in this bottom coil tank or others like it. If you have a syringe and needle it's not that hard to drain the tank and re-wick the coil, but there's only so much time in a day to mess with stuff like that as I'm sure you know.

If it doesn't work out remember you have an Ithaka, cartotanks, and other options. If the Ithaka is your favorite and you want a "beater" version, a Hercules might be just the thing you want (interchangeable parts and costs ~$40-$50). Keep the Fogger in good shape in case you do give up on it, that's what the classies are for. There's nothing wrong with having preferences in vape equipment and selling/trading unwanted items, folks do it all the time (I know I do). Good luck!

Time to attempt sleep again, this time with "all natural" OTC help... 100% legal of course. I think it's working, it took me a very long time to type this. :)

went to pay off the remainder of my venue fees yesterday after work.
i am really liking the space i am using for the party. it is expensive, but that aside it going to work so well for my event. i was told initially it had a capacity of around 300, which is smaller than i would like and would require me to hit capacity to break even. leaving me to rely on beverage sales to make a profit. the owner last night, a very nice man who speaks no english (i brought a translator) said the capacity is actually around 450+. this is an incredible find, as i budgeted all my numbers to have a break even point relevant to a 300 capacity. now i can increase my numbers and generate (hopefully) a profit from the door and rely less on alchy and energy drinks.
I am expecting around 6-700+ over the course of the night. once we hit capacity it will be 1 in 1 out. with over 600 rsvps already online, i am feeling pretty good about our turn out.
it is a 10 hour event (nonstopdancemusic) so my expected turnout will be spread over those hours, if we have over 700 people there at once it will quite a mess of people in a makeshift line in the parking lot, this can draw some unwanted attention, so i hope this doesnt become a problem.
