#5 Once upon a time, not that long ago, Christmas decorations didn't go up until Christmas Eve. Try to wrap you mind around that...

Yesterday, my local grocery store was giving away the trees they had left. Last week some of them were over $100. I took one, it smells nice. No, I didn't decorate it.

I've been cooking all day. The lasagna I made for Christmas dinner will probably be done by 1:00 a.m. (okay, I started a little late).

I don't know about anyone else, but I sure could go another year without seeing another Christmas gif or jpeg!

That said, today was really just the start of the Christmas holidays in Puerto Rico. January 6th (aka, the 12th Day of Christmas, or Three Kings Day, or Epiphany) is the most important day here. . . I'll do my best to spare everyone a whole lot of this for the next 12 days. . .

1- Morning night all, wow what a busy day, but it turned out good I suppose. We were tired and decided to eat dinner at the USO... Nice in a way for us to have our kids there, and spend some time with troops that did not have family here this year. Interesting places like that on the holidays, with the dear soldier cards it is a little reminder of both my time spent overseas, and those that are still there.

Very nice day with Best Friends, had the lasagna I made, and just finished watching Avatar in 3D - Nice . . .

Vast improvements over watching 3D in movie houses - Just not for "Me" . . .

Staying over to take advantage of a couple of sales around here - then back to where I live . . .
